Did you even watch it? You can't have your casters everywhere. As seen by a group of voidrays all dying while causing almost no damage because Fungal Growth is a broken spell.

@WhatsY0UTUB3 you do realize that fungal was always a paralyzing spell right? buff or no those voids would've went down anyway. Also, to say that one can't have his casters everywhere is to say that one GOT CASTERS IN THE FIRST PLACE. Did you even watch it? He had no high templar, and moved the voids right to the zerg's third all clumped together (all while knowing infestors were out). He deserved it for such poor play.

I didn't mention the buff as the reason for that happening for one thing. A spell that stops movement and does damage over time is broken by nature. It will be nerfed, and you will remember this conversation.

@WhatsY0UTUB3 I doubt I will, because regardless of fungal growth infestors still are hard-countered by any other caster, and the other race's casters are generally more useful against zerg (with no infestors). Ghosts counter pretty much all of z's top tier, and high templar nullify the entirety of ling/infestor play as well as storm obliterating large groups of ANY unit (bye-bye muta, bye-bye blords, bye-bye hydra). The fact remains that while the infester is good, it is easily countered.

@WhatsY0UTUB3 6 damage is an amazing nerf. It'll still have all those annoying little things that you're complaining about... freeze units and damage. Most of its shot-kills are still the same.

They can't make huge changes to it all at once. They'll start small like they are now, and when they see that Fungal is still a boring, broken spell, they'll change it. Or forget all about WoL once HotS comes out. Probably the latter.

there's perfectly good counters to infestors for the other 2 races... like high temps which can just feed back and ohko infestors, or ghosts that can either snipe or emp infestors, though the other 2 races don't have spellcasters that are AS good, they have counters to the infestor.
