This pair are simply breathtaking. Julio Bocca certainly has the Latino macho thing down, and looks the best of all Romeos in his costume; and if Olivia Hussey could dance, she would look like Alessandra Ferri.

The final kiss, just before Juliet tears herself away from Romeo, her hand to her lips as if trying to seal his kiss on herself forever, just broke my heart. Brava!

I recently saw Kirklands interpertation and for me she is the worst MacMillan Julia. It's hard to believe that someone could perform this pas de deux so bedly like she did it. Comparing with this one, Kirkland attempt should be hiden in some archives Alessandra was born to perform Julia and and I think her creation maches MacMillan vision and style. She is absolutely exceptional, so so true in every slightest detail of her expression Julio is also prefect Romeo They both together are magical.

I love the part around 4:40 where she matches his leg lines and they stop and hold it. That's just amazing to me for some reason.

They were truly extraordinary. I saw them dance this live. A truly legendary partnership. But the greatest I've ever seen to this day is still Baryshnikov and Kirkland (not in this ballet but in general).

julio and alessandra are wonderful together..very touching scene..i admire them both in these roles..julio just superb in technique, soft virtuosity

and interpretation, no exaggeration here...alessandra is juliet in person...an adolescent who falls in love and still is full of candor, shyness and purity...
