I've been an argonian since Oblivion but my skills sucked. I learned from my mistakes and I've decided to be an Argonian but make better choices. I want to be a mage and a warrior. I've upgraded my health and magika the most but stamina... ehh. Although I use 2 handed weapons at times. Any advice on how to make a better decision with my character?

@RichieBKingOfMc my argonian made a fantastic thief / duel wielder / archer. im not sure on their skills as a battle mage but im sure they're an all-round race to go. definitely the coolest looking in my opinion followed by khajit : P

I made a (second) character in Skyrim today. an a black and red argonian with 3

claw marks on his eye. Soon Loves-the-Cold shall rise above Alduin and DESTROY THE STORMCLOAKS!

Also, i love how they made the argonians look like mini-Dragons. absolutely badass.

I LOVE ARGONIANS! Skyrim has made the Argonians even cooler if that was even possible and they made the Khajit infinitely better than from Oblivion and the base character designs are all so infinitely more realistic than in Oblivion: gone are the smooth faces of yore and in their place are the organically gaunt faces of Skyrim which is also a refreshing throwback to the style of Morrowind but refined to a level it is awe inspiring.

@GForceReloaded yeah and it's not just because of how plain awesome they are but their natural abilities of water breathing, 75% disease resistance, 100% poison immunity and their base stats are so balanced and varied you can easily do anything with them regardless of their preference towards the thief/rogue classes.

@Gam3Junkie7 I like the overall improvement on the Argonian race but there are some part that I didnt like. I didnt like the limited skin color choices that they gave you. It would be awesome to play as a blue colored Argonian in the frozen mountains.

@jinhong91 Yeah bummer that but I prefer the pallet to toying with the pigment sliders for ages trying to find the right shade but yeah now that I think about it I won't be able to have a Silver Argonian like I did in Oblivion.

@Gam3Junkie7 I played star wars a few years back (AKA a long time ago) and in one of the games there was a race called trandoshans and they look exacty the same. Trandoshans were kinda theives they enslaved the wookies and took their wife and children. Wonder if their related???

@megaconda07 No not related at all lol. The Trandoshans are similar to the Argonians in Reptillian appearance only. Trandoshan have no gills, no tails and they can't wear most foot and headgear. As for their relation to the Wookies that's mostly true: the Trandoshans and Wookies have an eternal race-spanning hate for each other because of the Trandoshans hunting them for their religion and the Wookies being the killers of many Trandoshans. Also Trandos only live like 30 years on average=sadness.

@megaconda07 Oh no Trandoshans aren't generally bandits but are indeed regularly found in seedier elements. I found my Trandoshan Commando to be very powerful and balanced when I played SWG on Trial and as for Argonians they're normally considered bandit's etc because they're used to guerrilla warfare and thus sneaking and assassination are arts refined by them. Also yeah they have gills: how else would they breathe underwater naturally?

Argonians look so much better! Can you still wear those helmets that cover your entire face if you're an Argonian or are you limited partial helmets and hood only?

@MarkArandjus yup, can wear those helmets. can get one from the guards in whiterun (one of the first cities you'll need to visit)
