When I was in US I always asked myself why do people keep smilin at me if they dont know me? I started smiling back. but then I realized they dont give a shit who they are smiling at. They dont give a shit who I am or how I am doing.. and if u dont smile in streets in Moscow it doesnt mean u are stressed or depressed. its just a part of culture.
Maybe americans also see how propaganda under cold war has affected them.

Either, really. Much English is spoken in both cities. There is a difference in accent - but it is slight.
