Surefire sr-07 pad is the best pressure pad out there. It attaches directly to the rail and has the constant on button on it also. Otherwise Velcro is your best solution.
Why not try zip-tie it to the vertical-grip? Wouldn't that be more accessible?
Obviously temporary but easy to modify before you find a permanent solution. JB weld or another epoxy might work to permanently glue it on. Possible something bolted to the rail?
Nice light. They make panels that has cut outs for pressure switches, but it will add a little bulk compared to your ladder rail covers. I've also known people to cut bicycle inner tubes to make bands to keep the pressure switches down securely.
