what about Redneck vs Country People? i know there's a difference between them too as well. Country people is like a hillbilly but dont live on the hills and all that. I agree. Just to add to what you said. Rednecks and hillbillies do have a lot in common. But I think rednecks are into having fun and blowing off steam more so than hillbillies maybe because we have more funds to do it with. Rednecks like to tinker with stuff and make something creative out of junk just to see if we can, where as hillbillies do it out of necessity. Maybe the true difference is money. Tricked out Camero=Redneck, just trying to keep the old pick up truck road worthy=Hillbilly.
