LOL, at a christian "school" I went to, we were "taught" form books by this guy. Unfortunately I was the only one who could see past his lies. The Earth science book ( written by Wile) we used claimed that although the earth revolves around the sun, there is evidence that our solar system is the center of the Universe! Of course If im correct the expanding universe model suggets that everywhere is the center of the universe. But he believed that ONLY our solar system was the center.

I don't know how well you understand english but in MY book he states that it is entirely possible for EITHER the whole universe to be expanding equally, OR for it to be expanding away from us. Nowhere does he say that one is predominate over the other. He says that there is no scientific data against either, and just to have an open mind.... Is that a problem?
The video's logic is flawed. If you consider billions of years, countless versions of protein molecules in existence, along with an uncountable frequency of formation and recombination of these molecules over vast periods of time.....it is quite plausible. This video is a thinly veiled attempt by a Christian 'educational' publisher to confuse young minds in an effort to push their dogmatic and non-scientific agenda of power and control. It's a shameful plot against innocent kids.

But it doesn't take years of experience to see that not even a TRILLION years of "formation and recombination of these molecules" could even come CLOSE to developing the intricacy of one single "simple" cell. Not to mention all the other ASTOUNDING pieces of creation on this planet (just look in a mirror). The universe is just too big to be random.
The entire process of descent with modification operates on life one trait at a time. Even a virus, with just a few genes to duplicate its DNA and create a protein capsule to contain it might alter its genome to enable it to infect a host more readily or combat the host's defenses better. That's just one change. A simple cell is the product of multiple adaptations to its environment, acquired in the same way...one step at a time. We're simply a trillion of those cells rolled into one organism.
Well, it's been a rather brutal past. Many would wish that some imagined creator didn't put us and every other creature on earth through such a long history of scrape and survive, eat or be eaten. There's a beautiful side to it, but it's a horrible struggle as well. It's peplexing, but what choice do we really have but to accept it?
