@rainercedric23 Thanks man, definately a cool song, I actually am doing a mix of the lincoln brewster and hillsong version. The rhythm for the verses is hillsong, the lead lines are brewster and the chorus rhythms and bridge solo are my interpretations. God bless you as well and I am sure that you will play it great!
wow.. thanks for the compliment! I am using a T-rex replica for my delay set to dotted eighth (U2 type feel). For gain I am using a Lovepedal purple plexi and cmatmods signa drive stacked(combined). The amplifier is an old RCA tube amp that I converted into a guitar amplifier. The guitar is a PRS CE-24. I dont want to sound like a cliche, but God is my inspiration and the reason for any talent or ability I have. I give him the glory for the gift he has given me. I consider it his tone.
The lincoln brewster version is great but at our church we do a combination of the two different versions. Also the Brewster version with all of the lead parts can be pretty hard to play live. I really like the bass line in the hillsong version and obviously some of the lead guitar lines in the brewster version. Thanks for the feedback!
a lil bit, but I guess its keeping with the Lincoln Brewster theme. I just love that he produces good christian music, in that the musicianship is of a high level. It seems like the christian music industry is getting better and more talented. When you think about, why not? We should all aspire to be skillful at what we do, especially in glorifying God.
nice!.. it can be a big help.. :))..

I doubt it! Nothing like a good old fashioned RCA tube amp.
