I am American. I have lived here (in AUS) for 7 years. I own a BA Falcon XR6 Turbo. I am really starting to appreciate the appeal of cars like this. This is a nice example.

We do have some nice muscle cars here, also alot of great history with them too. So do the Americans, amazing muscle cars. I wouldn't mind a ba bf typhoon/xr6 turbo, good choice. That is my next car.

Mate I totally agree.

This vid was done a few years ago while the car was switched off. So to compensate for having no engine running I chose this background music. I have had soooo many dickheads commenting about the music?

what can you say but WOW. that is a beautiful piece of car mate. Iv been reading some other comments about abs and all that, so true, but nothing like driving a car with nil comforts and 3 turns of play in the steering

mate i just love the old xy xw, even xr xt. Im doing a charger e48 and its hard work, what makes it that you can really appreciate anything nice thats old, even holdens. If i didint like my valiants so much id have one of these.

I love em too. Yes its hard work rebuilding a classic to its original state, so much time and effort. When its all done mate, it will be all worth it. Good choice restoring a Charger.

My favourite car are Fords but i like any old tough car...hehe even holdens too.

wouldnt it be great to get Alan Moffat into one of his Xw-Xy's for a few hot laps at the Mountain..... I saw on youtube they did a few laps with Brockie and Skaife comparing past winning drivers/cars, Crazy, but I watch everything Falcon XW,XY here. Nice ride, thanks for the reply

Mate that would be awesome. Just before The great Bathurst race starts they have Moffat in an XY GT Johnson in the XE and of course alot of other legends crusing the mountain. The Historic racing is always great fun

Bloody TUFF mate i just love the old school look but the one thing that really anoyed me about the xw was that bonnet vent on one side that looks odd for a v8 but thats just me i like things to be even on both sides of the car but its still a sweet ass!! car. Love It!!!!
