  • Gosh cosmetics is a scandinavian brand, if you want a eye shadow base

  • Another comment re power converters: As you probably know, apart from the actual outlets looking different, the US uses 120 V @ 60 Hz. Norway (and most of Europe) uses 220 V @ 50 Hz. So what you need is a power adapter that changes all 3 things. Or things might blow up after a while :o)

Also the shops selling sports equipment might have removable spike soles you can put under your shoes to help with the ice. Many of them also have a selection of sports underwear too.

  • It's not normal to bleach your teeth in Norway.

  • Re: power converters, you can buy those at local lectronics shops.

The pain relievers are Paracet (paracetamol) and ibux (ibuprofen), but you can also get aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) i think. A good way is to take 1 paracet and 1 ibux, and if you're not going to sleep, a good amount of caffeine (all 3 work in synergy for pain relief).

And the shoes stuff, it's very important. You'll be torturing yourself if you don't have decent walking and winter shoes (wintershoes you could buy here).

    :)
