  • Wow. I was mad about having to pay $225 for a fixed bent pin on my Canon 7D. Now I feel like I'm getting a deal. Thanks for the vid.

  • Now I know why i will never open one of these if I ever hope for it to work again. Amazing in itself.

  • 1:08 Did they remove the sensor to clean it?

  • @gregorycazillo

The sensor needed to be removed to gain access to the CF pin housing. While it was exposed, the sensor was cleaned.

  • I like the thumbs up at 1:37.

  • This is a time lapse video (one shot per 2 seconds) of a successful one hour repair process on a Nikon D300s. The problem was a bent memory pin. Nikon charges a flat of about $200 to fix minor things like this. This was done on the spot in about an hour for a lot less. Contact Camera Clinic in Sparks, NV toll free 1-877 511 4811 for an estimate. He does all my repairs too and he's great!

  • Did it work and what did you change/fix?

  • @heuykiller

The repair was successful. A bent Compact Flash card pin was removed and replaced with one from a donor Canon SLR (40D if I remember correctly).
