  • Sir your mission is honorable!

  • Thank you very much <333 You have a lovely voice to listen to!

  • I commend you for doing this, but your english accent is beyond awful, bless you.

  • good job man!

  • Comment removed

  • Great stuff!

  • you should also do The Hobbit and The Silmarillion...... but if you really want to give yourself a challenge (in fact i DARE you to do this), try reading the whole of Tolstoy's WAR AND PEACE

  • this guy is boring

  • extreme mission. congrats......... i dont wanna know how much water you drank in order to keep going lol

  • @dantesthreshold haha, lots of water drinking and coughing. lol MAN i gotta continue this. I'm filming a movie right now so it takes up all my time.

  • You do have a powerful voice.

  • Actually ''The Voice'' was one of the Nicknames of the great Frank Sinatra.

  • It was good, didn't Ian mckellan do a reading of it?

  • @herogamer555 oh really?

  • @herogamer555 rob inglis

  • The guy readings a dick.

  • And that is the end of part one of chapter one of book one. :P lol

  • I don't get it, you say you want to get your "elite skills" on the net then you apologise for your bad accent, if you wanted to show off your skills why not use an accent you can actually do?! It sounds like you learned your English from an American, seriously, listen to some BBC or something

  • strange voice

  • Not bad :) better than most of us Americans!

  • I enjoyed the fake accent haha

  • thx this is awsome how do i go about getting that mp3 your were talking bout?

  • this is just too cool

  • Thank u soooo much for making this!!! It helped me get through the book!!! Thank u!!!

  • I'd prefer if you would of just had read it in your normal voice. It was much nicer to listen to than a fake-british xD anyway, good job!

  • awesome job... despite the somewhat poor British accent lol

your next assignment: read Leo Tolstoy's WAR AND PEACE just like this

yea good luck with that one considering that much of it is in Russian and French lol

  • hay my name is phillip im blind in my right eye and harf blind in my left i relly injoyed listing to you reading the book could ou give me an mp3 versen of it thank you

  • yes i relly injoyed that my name is phillip potts could i have that in mp3 farmat please

  • Obviously this comment is way beyond its time; but you need to get a wind-screen for your mic. those P's are pretty harsh

  • Hello Wolfpyros!

This is really, good! I mean it!

One thing, though. I really like the American (Canadian) accent, and I REALLY wouldn't mind this being read out in an American (Canadian) accent! But I don't really like the English accent (being English myself!)!

Just a suggestion though! Very good of you to try this amazing feat!

    Best wishes

    Spud

  • your english accents are a disgrace.

     sorry but they are.

  • Good job the breathing on the mic is too much you need to move further away. I also believe that the book sounds better with an English voice. Your voice fluctuates well but a little bit too much. The effort with changing accent for characters is appreciated. Im tempted to give it a go.

  • ey man is one of yo names "WHACK"

  • Very nice :)

  • I would like to say that all the LOTR fans appreciate this, but I will not be "liking" it, so that it wont gain attention from the flaggers

  • I just started listening to this and i have to say its good stuff man really enjoying first audio book type of thing i have listened to and i am enjoying this alot thanks alot for this

  • you should upload your whole reading to audiobooksforfree . com

  • Hey! love the videos, but I think adding some of Howard Shore's music from the movies while you read would really enhance the experience. Keep it up!

  • @JackBass11 I personally think that it would bugger up what wolfpyros has accomplished.

  • his son has copyright,

  • nice first part. when will you upload the two towers?

  • yay! what a nice surprise to find this :D I mean I like reading and all but audiobooks are just great, and when its read by an enthusiastic voice actor, all the better! XD

  • @MarcusMcCabe thanks :)

  • I think you did really good ..congrats and I love the accent

  • Cool :) You do a better English accent than I could do American. And I'll apologise now if you're Canadian... and I'll apologise for that too if you're not!...... !

  • ya im canadian lol no worries, thanks for watching

  • with the titles, can you put the pages of the reading cause i dont always keep track of the chapter and its just easierkeep track of. good job though like the accent

  • im not following you.

  • @wolfpyros can you put the words on the screen, not just a title page.

  • @wolfpyros he means could you put the pages you started from and then were you finished because he dosent read the chapter titels he reads through the number of pages :P understand tha ??? :) nice reading btw enjoyed it :)

  • did you finish it? cause that's a pretty insane mission man

  • i finished chapter 1 of book 1 lol, im 5min into chapter 2 as we speak.

  • thanks man im from england and you did the accent pretty well thanks for not making fun of the accent lol thanks again

  • thanks for watching. i love the accent and i am jealous that i dont' have it. so i wouldn't make fun of it. lol

  • In all honesty, you don't sound too different too the voices of BBC :P Well done!

  • wow thanks. :)

  • YES. :D

I've been looking for one of these.

  • I'v recently started to download and listen to audiobooks ( caching up on the last 3 Harry Potter books I didn't read in the series )- and you are really good narrator !

You have a few "personal noises" - so it's not a Professional version, but a very good voice.

  • ah thank you

  • haha i love it! your british accent starts off wonderfully dreadful, but gets a lot better. You sound like an old English man from the 40's - almost like grandpa...

    "comfortably together" - brilliant

I would just say that when we speak, our tone doesn't always go down at the end of sentences....I think that's what makes you sound so wonderfully respectable

Great effort though! totally listening on....

  • no cncerning hobbits? ;D jokes well done mate (i am english) very good accent if i must say myself well done:)

  • got to say i been lisoning to this on tape "very old" and ur pretty good :D

  • Don't worry, you're trying your best at our accent. And anyway, it's not that easy doing foreign accents. Well, not that much for me.

  • I'm English quite a good accent

  • what? really? awsome thanks

  • woww your sooo good! please upload the rest

  • it's really nice doing this public service and you read really well man :)

    5 stars

  • thanks ^_^

  • jesus man you kickass to try this dude, and its a fucking great way to get your voice skills out there, fuck the copyrights!!!!!!

Dont take this down!!! do you take request?

  • um you can request and we'll see what happens. Its a lot of editing so it takes time, i should focus on doing this more actually.

thanks for the complements. gives me the motivation to do more of these readings.

  • i think there is a copyright on this video, but....... who cares?

    Nice reading

  • i look for this stuff because i cant stand reading, so thank you

  • It's great that you're doing this but just one thing, you pause way too much. My father and I read this to each other a few years ago, and I keep remembering him (he teaches voice) so maybe it's just that he's a beast, but yeah, the pauses are something to work on.

  • wow! this is great. thank you soooooooo much.

  • Wow I love it upload more please!!!!!!

  • yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    upload the rest^^

  • NICE READING !! your accent is great.

  • where's the rest??

  • very good i like it (i cant tell a bad accent from good or bad) =P off to part two.

  • lol ya neither can i most of the time.

  • I like the accents. I think they fit well with the hobbits :)

  • Perhaps you could add Alan Lee's pictures? People would recognise them from the film, where they were very well adapted.

  • your awsum! i read it but yet i enjoy it better when you read!!!

  • Very good! respect. Normally I don´t like self-made audio books, but this is realy good. You have a very good voice!! And the recording is good!!

  • I am so sorry, but you make me chuckle too, the accent that is. I would almost prefer your normal speaking voice. But practice makes perfect, right?

  • lol but its so fun to do. i know its bad.

i have to do the accent for the characters at least.

  • The main problem with your accent is that it is to posh and you don't let the sentences flow.

  • teehee, your fake accent makes me laugh. not in a bad way though.

however, i do find it a little hard to take you seriously with the accent, unless you're doing quotes. you just sound a little too happy xD

  • well im technically not being serious sence im not making money off of this. lol so its not my work. so im doing it for fun.

but YA im glad you like it.

  • thanks

  • not bad
