  • wow wow wow...................

  • Wow wow wow ! very good drumming guy ! Beautifull technique !

  • Gostei !

E ele parece Felipe Andreoli, do Angra, quando tinha 21 anos. :-)

  • The feeling must be awesome when you set up all that stuff just to see that you forgot the rug...

  • 1157 people are cool. 96 people are jealous!! Keep it up!

  • hahahaha hihat do moving music

  • mh... looks boring :/

  • hawt solo

  • press 1 then 4 to see just how far those hi hats go

  • i like that snare drum!

  • lol look how far out the hi hat is at 1:30 then go back to the beginning of the vid

  • what i like is that u dont have to youse duble bass for most of the solo

  • tell me, how did you know of the movie piranhas back in 2008?????

  • 3:17 : He wakes up o_O

  • That hi-hat just keeps moving farther and farther away from you. :( I hate it when that happens.

  • @KiernanMooney dude, i have the solution to that problem. depending on what type of hat stand. i took the spikes from an old double pedal and secured them into the bottom of my hat stand. underneath the rubber, on the legs. i never had that problem again.

  • Excellent excellent excellent

  • dont u hate it when ur hats try to run away

  • Hey man. Have you heard of Grant Collins ? Youtube if you haven't :) TRUST ME !

  • wow dude, how big is your set?

  • There's a Mormon ad on your video, LOL.

  • YOu look like Pete Parkkonen. Google search. :D

  • DW FTW

  • very good man! hit the drums harder i'd say, but yeah technically awesome.

  • my ram memory its not enough to keep hi hat beat!..

  • you used to have a video up called jazz/samba and you were playing to some jazz music and then some saba style music i think you made. what happened to it? can you repost it!?!

  • very horrible.

  • ah beautiful man!! respect x

  • Comment removed

  • great but maybe louder and headbanging

  • @Sabiano i know im jewish too

  • This is fantastic!!! Technicality, feeling, individualism. This is what I look for in a drum solo and what so many young players lack. Keep up the good work man. This was a joy to watch.

  • very nice job dude

  • are you jew?

  • @dayanguitar He could be jewish...there's a lot of great jewish drummers out there. Jews got rhythm!

  • @Sabiano yeah i know im jew too

  • @Sabiano I know!!!! I´m jew too!!!

  • Aspirations: Sivamani casts a spell with his drumming - Part 1

  • these people are the reason i get pissed off when people say travis barker and joey jordinson are the best out there.

  • i love the complaints drummers give about "groove and feel" a solo is not accompanied by a bass line so the groove is not needed. it is rhythmic expression. for the dolts that think the drum is just a metronome for the rest of the band to play over, i sigh. the drums are just as musical as any other instrument with the correct mentality. i personally love master Danny Carey's playing from TOOL. he doesn't groove, he creatively breaths life in the drums, in VOLTO, thats is where he grooves.

  • very nice reminds me of some of cozy powells solo`s form back when R.I.P cozy and greta skills here man

  • hi hat stand is going out for a walk.

  • @sonordrummer1982 Man that shit happens to me all the time.

  • @sonordrummer1982 mine does that its bloody annoying!

  • fuck thats amazing !!

  • you need som triggers on your kick lol, i think lol

  • you can beat COBUS :D

  • @drumfreak66 i am guessing youre 21 now 8)

  • loving the time keeping with the hi hat

    Genius!!

  • Honestly massively wanky, but dear GOD you are clean!

  • Reuben Gingrich - This guys charisma can be seen from space.

  • this shit is awesome! great technique

  • You wonder why some drummers haven't been discovered.

  • this.....is drumming

  • nicely done!!what type of tom heads do u have?

  • Sick dudee! That hihat thing in the beginning is a killer. I know it´s damn hard to keep up while fooling around with hands :) Hey btw, how small is your bass drum?

  • @keitiim 18 inch for sure

  • Beautiful!!

  • 81 people just didn't understand this.

  • Very musical. Good job!

  • yeah ! brother soo good <3 !! xD tabs ?

  • yeah ! brother soo good <3 !! xD

  • amazing footwork with the high-hat.

  • faster than a blink of an eye: stick flip - around 2:14 ish

  • looks a bit like jamie callum...jist a little, lol

  • have fun with putting all your mics away :D

  • superb!

  • that polyrythmic section at the beginning was ammazinggggggg

  • really love your snare

  • that was epic

  • one of the better vids ive seen :P good stuff mate

  • that was tight...

  • bravo !

  • wow. all of this is freaking amazing but does anyone thing the thing he was doin with his left foot with the hihat didnt musically fit all the fills he was doing with his hands.....i mean its epic to be able to do that rhythym and do all that at the same time but.....idk, i think some of the rhythms clashed with the hi hat pattern.

  • @governergusgus no i think you're just jealous you cant play drums like this guy

  • @Alit2 lil bit but i just thought i heard something and wanted to see if anyone else knew what i wu talking about.

  • @governergusgus When in the video are you referring to?

  • @governergusgus hence why he says it's an improv solo. as in having no set solo patterns just goin at it.

  • @governergusgus Polyrhythms, google it.

  • such a bummer when the hihat stand runs away. know the feeling..

  • fuck these ads

  • haha i thought the high hat was a metronome.he never messed up even one time with it.

  • looks like some can play hot for teacher

  • bored

  • Nice work with the 7 over 4.

  • Hey REUBEN GINGRICH! YT ain't for inhuman drummers! Great solo, man! XD

  • lawl the last part is amaaaaaaazing!

  • that end pattern was called the baltimore sweep (not sure if thats how its spelt tho...) Chad Szeliga does it in his warm ups.

  • ty for making me think i didnt learned anything in the last 7 years of drums lessons xD

  • Amazing drumming. Though, I actually prefer the sound of your kit in your bedroom recordings. Especially the kicks.

  • I like the foot in the beginning =X

  • this is savage those hi hats got a bit annoying though

  • i got one complaint, i could be wronge but from the view it looks like your playing heel down. try a little more power in his kick.

  • Note to self- sell drumkit ASAP.

  • Holy Shit!!!!!!!!! :0

  • 0:44 EPIC MIC REPOSITION!!!!!!!

  • @screamodrummer1234 FOLLOWED BY EPIC HI HAT REPOSITION!!!

  • today i heard that mike portnoy left dream theater and i came back to this video to say you should totally try out for them. your drum solos are more entertaining than mikes for improvising. (from a guitarists opinion)

  • It's technical. It's got some ostinato, But where is the groove? Where is the feel? It comes across, in my opinion, as feeling disjointed.

  • @ElephantsGerald um... its improv, hes just messing around trying to look good, and its working

  • @ElephantsGerald I disagree, i think it fits together very well - and as far as drum solos go, pretty fucking groovy. Look at some of joey jordisons solo's, they are an example of how to write a disjointed solo.

  • i like the piranhas shirt. you anticipated the worst movie of 2010

  • your high hat moved so far away from you in relation to where it was at the start

  • Witch all this stuff... ist it actually abel to fly?

  • nice fro

  • 2:32-2:38=Amazing!!

  • How old are you here?

  • his hi-hats are running away frooom him! o.O LOL! :D

  • that was some of the sickest back-sticking i have ever seen on the set...

  • Nice playing! The toms and bass sound a bit muddy on the recording but eff it bro. nice

  • very nice solo

  • Do you have two snares? I'm just a guitarist :S No expert on the drums xD I need some knowledge on them to create backing tracks though.

  • @RsGhost1

He's using a single snare in this video.

  • @BLdrummer740 How would you create a drum roll? I'm afraid I can't drum so I have to use virtual drums. I tried using some 16th note strokes but I can't seem to make it sound real.

  • @RsGhost1

Depending on what you're using ... you might not be able to recreate the drum roll.

My best advice is search on how to get a "Buzz" roll on your Vdrums. If you can't find anything on that then using 32nd notes and creating a double-stroke on each note of the 32nd notes should accurately replicate a drum roll ... you might have to make adjustments for slower tempos.

  • @BLdrummer740 I see thanks, I'm using beatcraft so I should be able to do what you said. Have you got any tips on what volume each stroke should be? If all volumes are the same it will just sound like a rattle instead of a drum roll.

  • @RsGhost1

    Ha! Acoustica Beatcraft is awesome!

    I used to use that.

For the roll, all of your volumes should be at about a 25%.

  • What he's playing isn't impossible, i'm not saying it isn't hard but lots of drummers could do it easily. But playing it on top of that constant hi-hat groove, that's tricky, nice work dude.

  • starts off like the hi-hat part from the beginning of Red Barchetta by Rush

    good solo, man :D

  • What heads are you using? and I couldn't help but notice you don't have a spike on your hat stand or you aren't using it lol

  • Haha u caught my attention for sure sexy sounds :D

  • its all in the hair!!!! lol

  • most is technic, not feeling, thats the differenz ;)

    but he is playing good

  • yea dude bad ass

  • nicest sounding kit ever!

  • @jamiequinlan ROFL this is the best kit sound you've heard to date ? :O hit : Lech in the studio. in the search bar it's As Blood Runs Black drummer in the studio , his kit sounds simply awesome d00d ;) and great solo tho ...

  • @jimmylaporte dude it was just a passing comment - i mean like its a well nice sounding kit, of which it is!! Not liiterally the best :P

  • @jamiequinlan Of course lol :P

  • how long have you been playing drums

  • hahaha the walking hi hat stand xDD

  • PIRANHAS

  • DAMNZ this is crazy!!!

  • no feel ..... mr look at me !........Two words for this guy .....Take notes from Buddt Rich

  • how can you say there's no soul look at the hair!

  • i dont feel any soul....its all so want to be complicated 24/7 THUMBS DOWN!!!

  • @wsdrummer06 You must be very ignorant. Since when do solo's have to have "soul"? I'm pretty sure this was meant to be a technical solo, not a groove solo. Either way he is a good drummer and you should atleast recognize that.

  • Lots of Potential to be the new Guitar Centre Champ :P

  • beautiful sounding kit

  • someone really needs to EQ those drum tracks a bit

  • This is what a drum solo is all about... Finally a real drummer (lol, couldn't find any other words).

  • verrry very very nice my friend!!! i LOVE DW, only if i had enough $ to get one hahhaa
