  • Man, you can PLAY that thing!

  • Damn! Don't know which of the two is most amazing! The steinberger or your playing?

  • Wow!! your'really good !!!

  • How much that Steinberger run you? I want one. Mught trade my King V for one.

  • ( applauding) Awesome job on an awesome song.

  • 1:50 to 2:30 is absolutely christ like

  • Absolutely BADASS!!! Very nice dude!

  • Absolutely BADASS!! Very nice cuce!

  • That Steinberger is absolutely the sex. Cold and sterile, my ass. That thing sounds KILLER

  • Well done, sir.

  • hey! i really like your playing,i was original kidsultanofshred but flaming youtube shut my account down for aleged copyright, it would be appreciated if you could check out my videos and sub me>>! thanks satchel jnr

  • HOLY CRAP!!! Did you see how he switched guitars and changed clothes for the solo, and then back again? Satch is AMAZING!

  • wooow nice steinberger, those guitar are so rare today

and btw nice playing, thumb up from me !!!

  • Great job man. I'm still trying to play the opening riffs up to speed without messing up. I can do SWTA but not this song yet :\

  • wow that was awesome

  • TOTALLY AWESOME!

  • Here is the difference between you and me. I saw maybe 3 splices in that vid. The other day I recorded the solo from "On the turning away" (Pink Floyd/David Gilmour). It took me at least 10 attempts to get a "decent" version down. I worship Gilmour but the complexity of his soloing does not compare to Satriani. In the process of recording "always with you always with me" and so far it aint pretty, at least 20 attempts quickly deleted no doubt with more to follow.

  • Even though I know it isn't really this way, you make it seem as natural as breathing man. Well done.

  • Dude, that was awesome!! Sounded great! This is now somewhat of an oldie, but still one of my favorite Satriani tunes of all time. You sounded excellent!! Hey, did you see the girl who played this on the electric cello on America's Got Talent a week ago? Nobody "got it" and she got booed off... I was totally cheering her on. It was kind of a bummer. (She didn't sound great, I'll admit, but it was still pretty rockin and she wasn't terrible either.)

  • Nice job dude!

That tone's pretty sweet too, reminds me of that video of Paul Gilbert playing this at some old show in the 80s

  • Where did you find a guitarless track? I need one desperately.

  • @thestig1214 meddg me and ill send it to you.

  • @satchbooggy can you please sent that to me too. jackguitarman@live.com and this is brilliant. your just amazing I wish iwas as good as you

  • what effects are you using to make your guitar sound like that at around 1:50 on the finger tapping solo, that sounds awesome

  • flanger

  • @satchbooggy thanks :)

  • some day I'll have a steinberger... great playing, man

  • You are awesome! ..it kinda looks easy when u play it like that...

  • I love to listen to you play. You've got some serious talent.

  • Awesome, 5*s!!! Very sweet man. Nice guitar too, I tried a stienberger & parker fly one time and remember both guitars played very smoothly. Tell me, in your opinion, what are the pros (obviously the transtrem) & cons of the Stienberger versus standard guitars you've played?

  • You've got some kickass covers and guitars.

  • oh thank god you dont get it in one take perfect every time.

You were giving me an infieriority complex LOL

Very nice never got turned on to Satriani but I like this I have heard it a few times looks like I may treat myself to some thanks !

  • @chez117 thanks a lot dude!!

  • nice job! the tapping solo sounds much cleaner than in your other version of this cover!

  • @nunovanhalen023 thanks man, eveything gets better with time... i was just winging it in that version. i might remove that old version, it sucked haha

  • i dont think you should remove the old version, it had some cool improv licks. and the bobblehead was a nice effect lol

  • Ha! I'm over here early :) ...I just sensed there was another masterpiece awaiting us...and great wickaye, there was!! Awesome...it's your namesake song...it's gotta be :)

  • @LeopardJoy Yo Joy, glad your spidey sense was tingling HA!!

  • Where do you get those sticky strips for the picks?

    Awesome work also as usual.

  • @TheShockerPoper i dont follow dude... please elaborate :)

  • Haha on your replica guitar, you have those white strips holding picks. just wondering where one gets those. i have a nasty habit of dropping picks while rehearsing with my band and its a pain waiting for a part in the song where i can bend down and grab it off the ground lol.

  • @TheShockerPoper oh on that old beater haha dude all you do...take a long piece of duct tape and roll it into a tube and smash it down flat on the guitar...holds them in place for a long time. Mine is for show...i dont use those picks..they were a gift and they are too heavy :)

  • haha wicked, imma have to try that on my new kramer thanks alot

  • @TheShockerPoper just one thing man...im not responsible for any paint damage or anything HA! i couldnt care less about the paint on my frankie...its thrashed (on purpose) :)

  • hahaha paint is paint its just $400 kramer striker tho this guitar kicks soo much ass for that price.

  • Thats one sick guitar...

  • @Sk83flip thanks dude, i love them both....

  • Holy crap, is that a Steinberger GM I see there?!? Those are quite possibly some of the coolest guitars ever. Amazing cover once again Satch. \m/

  • @randyrhoads82rip yes sir...its really cool. the oar that eddie used was great i had one of those but its no better than the wood body GM series in my opinion. the graphite ones sound slightly better but to me they dont play any better at all.

  • Awesome as usual!! What pickup are you using? (assuming they are the same in each guitar)

  • @Earnhardt12345 the steinberg has EMG actives (my personal fave pickups)and the jackson has a dimazio super 3 (my fave dimarzio)

  • @satchbooggy I have been looking at some active EMGs (81/85) for my Dean.. It will be my first time using acitve. Thanks for the response.

  • @Earnhardt12345 dude trust me you might very well not wanna use any other pickups active using EMG's

  • This is great stuff, man!!

  • @Theblackhell1 thanks a lot man!

  • dude.......you fn rock

  • @rockerchef22 thanks dude
