hakius and amos sre totally different drummers for sure. hakius' style was better but amos is great. hakius dont wanna drum no more so what can cisneros do? go on without him....what would his choice be....?
@dudonaut I read in a interview Cisneros said his heart wasnt in it anymore. if your heart isnt in it anymore then its time to move on. plus I know right around then he had a kid. so that might have something to do with it and livin on the road is tough. ya know its not like these guys are millionaires. far from that. they do it cause thats what they love.

Man, that new drummer needs to stop fidgeting around. Did him fixing his cymbals and his hair kill the mood or what? And those fills get obnoxious. It was great seeing them a few months back and witnessing Al's bass rig happen in front of me. And the new guy's a great addition to the sound too. But, I miss Chris Hakius's meditative ride cymbal bell metronome thing. He had so much more cool subdued style than the new guy.
I`m guessing that`s the Lichens-guy then?

I've always loved OM and now I love them even MORE with Emil on drums, I don't give a shit what anyone says!
Any doubters- check Emil's band GRAILS. If you dig OM, you'll love Grails and you'll know why Al Cisneros chose to work with him.
