Don't believe me if you want, but I only talked about fat, I've barely scratched the surface. Study your food before you eat it.What does your chicken eat, what procedure's taken to raise common cattle, how is it for the enviro and our bodies, research it, I'm happy to learn more. :)

  • Here's a good breakfast, and will also mask the egg taste a little:

    Beat 3 eggs (or egg whites) together with some mix of: pepper, salsa, spinach, ham, whatever

    Make a 3 egg omelet.

    Cut omelet in two and put each half between slices of whole grain bread.

    Serve with water/juice/low-fat milk and a banana.

    Voila, filling and healthy breakfast, done in 10 minutes.

  • My personal advice: allow yourself something junky once a week, at least at first, it will help you to not cheat, or give up all together. Sometimes at the end of the week I have a burger and fries as a reward, but I do a kids meal, small portion, just so I don't go nuts with all the veggies everyday. It can be really hard to make the switch to healthy food right away, so ween yourself off the unhealthy food and caffeine at your own pace. That's what has been helpful to me anyway. Good luck!

  • Tips for that workout soreness: #1: it goes away relatively quickly, #2: drink LOTS of water, not during but after exercise (during drink just enough to get that dry throat feeling out), #3: drink a glass of chocolate milk within 30 minutes of exercise.

  • @polypolyman oh, and nearly forgot - stretching. Don't stretch before you do anything. Walk/light jog or something like that for about 5-10 minutes, then stretch, then do your main exercise. Stretch afterwards too, for a bit longer than the first time.

  • yea thats breakfast was rather large. try to cut down and try to eat 5 to 6 meals per day. your body doesnt store protein so that keeps constant protein flowing to your tissues. also if you gain muscle then it might not get to under 200 easily. just saying good luck though

  • To make a perfect sunny side up egg the trick is a see through lid. Insert eggs and put see through lid on when you see the thin white skin on the top its perfect.

  • Eggs can be unhealthy if you have them too much... they're high in cholesterol. A breakfast burrito is a good healthy choice (with beans, meat, maybe a little egg, veggies, etc.) Also try to limit your meat... tofu is gross to people who eat meat, but it's really worth a try!! Also beans are great. Good luck! You can do it!!

  • O_o You know, now that I think seriously about making eggs. A good guide is to wait for the sides to all hold together. The other day I just sat there babysitting an egg after this video. After the sides are strong enough I go under and test the same way. All the way around the egg and the flip for roughly 20 seconds.

    Just goes to show that what I take for gratitide while I'm cooking, I don't even know how to do until I slow it down and list off what I just did. ^_^ Hope that helps PhillyD!

  • When u make eggs, just use the egg whites. Its actually a lot healthier than he yolk. And throw in some of your favorite veggies too! And a very MILD touch of cream cheese. Yum :d
