@streetbeat86 I had an 85 Iroc-Z. Unfortunately these are the worst cars to try and get to run cool. Bad cooling design from the fan, to the radiator, to the termostat, to the front end design. These are the hot blooded era of Camaro to say the least.

No, an engine won't crack or warp if you spray some water on it. It will only crack if you dump water inside a hot and dry engine block.

The IROC was produced and sold through mid '90 then it became the Z28 because GM lost the rights to the IROC name. you look it up. Nice car man!

GM Choose not to renew the contract they had with Iroc in '90. The had signed a five year deal in with them '85, so once it was over, it was either choose to renew, or go back the name "Z28." Rumor is they didn't renew because the fourth gen was coming in two years, the sketches were already out, and they wanted to try something new with the '93+ Camaro's. But they never made a sexier Camaro after '92.
