Yep, you can turn it off entirely. The game is very difficult, even at low difficulty settings, so it's a really rewarding experience with autoaim turned off.

To be fair, the game is on the easiest setting and the auto-aim is turned up about half-way. I would have died much sooner if it had been on normal or harder.
