  • @JackedCars i hate people like you

  • That car in the UK is a Nissan Sunny. Not a Pulsar.

  • you guys got me there at the end for a split sec

  • In Nevada, the only full inspection is when you register the car for the first time. Then, it's only smog checks.

  • sucks to be down there we need i think it is a 5 yearly inspection or when it runs out other than that you can drive around in a rust bucket and the cops wont do a thing. but drive legal import be prepared to see the boys in blue on a regular basis. o btw i live in qld [no emissions ftw]

  • what did you actually do with it

  • it started off as a crap car, an we've magically transformed it into....a crap car with a rego

  • That ultratune is at Menai yeah, next to pulse racing?

  • "do you like that martin"

    hahah

  • do we have inspections in the u.s.?

  • @fruitbooting132 yes once every i believe two years

  • @fruitbooting132 Nope, i haven't met anyone that has had an inspection

  • @fruitbooting132 depends where you live in the states. Like in kansas the only time you need to have a car inspected is when you do a salvaged title. Lot of people here in KC try to get their cars registered in kansas for that reason cause the MO inspections are pretty brutal from what I hear

  • dude Sr20de or det swapped pulsars made to look nice go for a decent buck in the states.

  • HAHAHA FUKIN FUNNY @ THE PHONE-CALL PART!!!!11

  • love it how all your work was carried out in a pair of flip flops or thongs as you call them haha

  • you forgot to refill the spilled gearbox oil :P

  • lol pause at 6:39 its martys subaru

  • metal on metal, i hate that. My ford falcon has that at the moment and its heading downhill, its a 1995 GL and im actually selling it today.

  • 7:21 - It looks like you killed the thing. Its neck popped off from its head and there was blood splatter

  • can you guys please do a $100 mod episode ?

  • LOVE your work guys!! oh and i LOVE the mechanic's message - GOLD!

  • here in canada we have no inspections at all!

  • @baldolera Lucky you! But where I live it would mean many deaths on the road because it would give green light for anyone to drive their junk in the most unimaginable condition. Also does inspection cost shitload of money in other countries or is it just my homeland? And do they also demand things like working headlight wipers only because you have them otherwise you must remove them?

  • @xep3haet the only inspections is the emissions test and we have to have daytime running lights.

  • @baldolera Wow I'm so jealous! Canada seems like the best country where to live if you ask me. :)

  • @xep3haet haha.. but i see 2 problems with canada automotive-wise.

    1. In the province I live in, it's mandatory to have a front-mount license plate. Its so ugly.

    2. RUST! lots of salt in the wintertime when it's cold, so rust is a problem.

lol yeah thats the only problem. but what i would do in my car is for the license plate, if i have a front lip, i would mount it as low as possible on the lip so it's not too noticable.

  • @baldolera Don't start with the salt. I believe It's a common enemy of every car owner and inhabitant of regions where temperatures go below zero. I also checked out those number plates. They wouldn't quite match your new Bentley I guess. :D

  • @xep3haet it goes to -20 here in toronto... :( sad but so far my parents car has no rust from what i can see... but that's because the car's rustproofed every year. but in the neighborhood where i live in, i think people don't care about their own cars. an 8 year old toyota camry (which is our family car) has about 10 door ding dents from other cars! i guess the people in this neighborhood think other people don't care about their own cars too. LMAO i'm MOVING out of this neighborhood or city

  • @baldolera Continued, don't have enough characters...

so my own car doesn't pick up dents...

  • @baldolera That's a lot of dents! :O This is one reason why my family car still is over 20 years old Audi B3. It's in good shape and costs almost nothing to repair and maintain. When you drive something this old little dent from some asshole in parking lot doesn't really worry you anymore. It's so much easier when you consider your car only as a mean for getting from point A to B. Probably gives you additional 20 years of life because of the stress you avoid. :D

  • @xep3haet that's why im going to move somewhere where people actually CARE about their cars lol. maybe another part of Toronto or another city in the USA southern states so no winter = no salt = no rust = good. :D

  • @baldolera Good luck with that! :) I wish I was citizen of USA so I could find some place warm with no winters and live there for rest of my life.

  • @xep3haet lmao thanks. :D

  • @baldolera Nor here in south Australia.

  • @baldolera Lucky D:

  • @baldolera What kinda pot are you smoking? We got safety inspection, drive clean every 2 years, and MTO is always on your ass for illegal mods

  • @Asop43 I meant no rego inspections. LOur inspections are still a lot less than other countries.

  • @baldolera Fair enough

  • @baldolera i'm moving to canada now fuck this haha

  • @xXxDANMANxXx we also don't ahve imports like S15s and 7-9 Evos though.

  • @baldolera and usa

  • @baldolera also usa.

  • @baldolera hi five im from canada too teehee and true

  • @EeLaMSaRu haha MAD

  • Comment removed

  • $40 bucks for a set of hubcaps, you guys got ripped off!

  • @baldolera Clearly you don't drive a RHD in Manitoba. Here in (this part of) Canada we have inspections whenever you pass a cop car!

  • @ABCDEFR haha m8, I wasn't talking about RHD... and yeah, I can see that happening often here in Toronto too, although I've never seen that happen yet.

  • @baldolera were are you, cause in nova scotia we do!

  • @RPS13DRlFT lol im in Ontario... we have some inspections but not as many as this...

  • @baldolera lucky bastard :P

  • @baldolera

the rust is faster than the wear in your country.

  • @michaelovitch yeah, that's the problem. What we do is just coat the underside of the car with a special substance to slow down the rust and protect the car.

  • @baldolera Actually in ontario theres emissions testing and when you buy a car it has to go through safety

  • @thedarkgreenvanman I agree with you, but at least we don't have much stricter inspections like these and also we don't have to have stupid "P" plates or anything like that. Ontario only has G1 and G2 licenses and it isn't as long as P or L plates. I live in Toronto.

  • @baldolera very true, that would suck to have to do an inspection every year

  • @baldolera not even smog check?!

  • @PD19954 we do have some inspections, but I mean they aren't as much as anywhere else.

  • You guys should really consider donating the cars like this one to someone.

  • haha have the same dryer im my garage too. what a small world

  • upgrade the engine and use the car to gap the cops.

  • i got a quick question i have a 99n eclipse and my power steering makes the same noise how did you guys get ride of that noise?

  • lambaaageeeneee!

  • We dont have rego where I live, you can have the shittiest car ever if you want

  • @mrbiggoggles314 where the fuck is that? sounds cool, and cheap. BUT DANGEROUS lol

  • @BanielDrown South Carolina

  • @mrbiggoggles314 Afghanistan doesn't count.

  • @omgmyuserwasdisabled LOL, I live in South Carolina, we have some pretty shitty cars around here

  • Holy CRAP, are you guys aware that you're driving in the wrong side of the road!?

  • do you really have to register your car? Or is this not for the US?

  • lol

  • Love the Japanese safety boots!

  • That drive shaft part made me laugh so hard!

  • guys come to canada and pimp out my 07 dodge charger

  • how come mah dee has to do all the hard work?

    what happened to moog?

  • Your best episode.

  • Does anyone recognize the song used in the intro sequence on each of their videos ?

  • @Ox1Dizer It was written by Marty and MOOG specifically for the Season2 intro of Mighty Car Mods.

  • @mightycarmods Thanks man!

  • @mightycarmods do it has name?

  • @Ox1Dizer i heard a similar intro in a videogame as a kid

  • @tibbracing1 You are probably thinking of MX vs ATV unleashed

  • @ 10.50 it says " do you like that martain?" WTF lol

  • did you already fight the lug nuts, or were they really as loose as it looked? if they're that loose why didnt the mechanic yell about that lol

  • Bah, sucks to live in NSW! In Vic we don't have that at all! Good vid though :)

  • haha thank god i live in WA

  • LMAO i live reallly close to the place where the car got rego lols

  • is this real? 1:38 lol

  • what is it you say in the last 2 seconds?

  • what happens if the car don't pass on second inspection

  • these cars and the model before(as i have one) go through cv so easily!, i changed the cv bearings and joint to a hilux model no more problems when dumping the clutch!!! to the person who doesn't know jack from front wheel base lose very little fluid from auto or manual trans. the rear ones are a f'n hard! as ive changed mine twice and the fluid is on max, even if it spills out! it only has to be 1/4 full. over fill in these types of cars and u lose power as the slush slows it down

  • "now it looks like a lamborghini " HAHAHAH

  • 6:54 wtf a bottle?!?!?!?!? WTF!!

  • Do cars have to be inspected yearly in NSW? If so, I am glad I live in SA because my car would never pass such a test.

  • ROFL i love the mechanics voice mail

  • @EpiMuzik

"if only you guys were chosen for top gear aus-it might be still on the air "

rumor has it that Top Gear asked mighty mods to come onto the show for a segment, Mighty mods refused.

oh and BTW Top Gear Aus will be back..... there finishing up shooting season 3 =D

  • if you know someone that has the license to do inspections, you could just buy a inspection sticker for USD$150 and save yourself all that work..... OF COURSE THATS ILLEGAL.. but sometimes a car isn't worth all that trouble... like when i used to have my little 96 dodge neon.. i didnt bother with that POS

  • bloody listen, this pulsar here is a piece of shit, basically its fucked its not going to pass inspection the brakes are fucked the steerings fucked the CVs fucked come here and get this piece of shit out of my shop.

  • what did you use to clean up the slime on the back seat????????

  • Great video good to see you still put the bling on the wheels.

what happens in oz if the car fails the second time?

  • @WIOACE they take you out into the bush, chain you to the steering wheel and set the car on fire. slow death, but hey there is a consequence for driving a shit car.

  • @freestyla101 Gold hahaha. So thats why OZ always has those bush fires

  • @WIOACE hahaha yeah, bloody people and their shit cars. but thats not that bad, i heard in dubai they even include compression checks in their tests.

  • nice, cheap $40 5 stud conversion

  • just watched all your videos. no joke you guys are better and more funny than top gear australia. subscribed! keep it up!

  • haha i think u guys shuld do this up, i have a sentra which is basicaly the same, ive worked on it for a long time and its turned out pretty great

  • Thank god America does not care about its citizens cars being safe or not.

  • at 10:50, right at the end, moog says, "do you like that martin?" haha

  • This isn't a complete guide. Dude if someone looks att this thinking to do a DIY job. They are probably running their gearbox dry at the moment, Because you didn't remind the wiewers about filling upp the transmission with the approapriate Transmission fluid.

    Worth noticing

  • @zonander the video isn't intended as a full guide, more just showing whats possible with the tools and initiative. Some cars you don't lose the fluid from the gearbox when removing shafts, in this case we didn't lose much, and the box had been overfilled previously so it didn't need much of a top up at all.

  • @zonander read the disclaimer at the start - its more for entertainment
