@kappta hes solo's are very basic, they all sound the same if your strip the backing instruments they are very boring, he uses hes wah to cover up hes playing, he makes more than any other guitarist, which is very unfair and the videos ive seen of him improvising are just nasty. but he does make good riffs judging by metallica

Personaly, i don't like bands like Slipknot or whatever, because i think it's horrible, they just shout and make noise. That's my opinion. Although, i don't think what you said is true, his improvings are not nasty like you said, you might don't like it, but they are not nasty.
