Trishaws pick up people on the pavement. Look at this video: he was interviewed at the junction of River Valley and Hill St, one of the very few trishaw pick up points. The bastards should have paid but if you had to pay $10 for such a short ride (about 100m)I don't think you'll be happy. The video made the situation look much worse than it actually was.
