you really need to work on actually knowing what ash really looks like if u are gonna do how to draw videos on him and pokemon. in general though it was really good because a lot of people cant draw at all and i have a few friends who cant but it is funny cus i am in art and i cant do realistic drawings unless it is an eye.

I'm sre you're a very talented artist, but I suggest that you focus more on your own style as opposd to copying someone else's. One way or another, though, you could use some practice with these characters. Sipe though they are, minor details can make one hell of a difference when you're imitating another's art.

You need to study WAY more than one piece of reference before you start doing that. Even after all of that, please, study human anatomy (some more if you have). Not only is your version of Ash off model, he doesn't even have ears. Come on, that's just careless.

If he doesnt helped you it´s because you werent paying attention. Most of he´s lines are studied couple of times. Some movements he does before drawing is he checking on he´s mind where guideline is. He isnt saying he will input on you talent to draw. You only have talent if you dont stop at 1st and keep trying. Thanks Jay French for your movies.

This guy is awesome. Some people say he sucks, but he seriously doesn't. He obviously never grew up drawing manga, so it's natural that his old styles kinda... makes him draw manga less perfectly. You get what I mean, lolz?
