Getting famous today is more about money than skill because there's so many good drummers out there who wants to be big too. If you do get famous by being very good a drumming, you'd have to be INSANELY good today

Before that all I knew was Dave Weckl and Chester Thompson. Now I learn about as many drummers and styles as I can. You're on your way though and you already got a band to jam and gig with.
