I laced a set of wheels back in late 94 for Danny. Not only was he "pin-the-throttle" fast, but he was a great guy to have around and talk to. He was missed by my whole shop, and everyone that could traveled to his funeral where there had to be about 400 people.
His style was ahead of its time. it was smoother than johnnys ever was. Imagine if he had Honda technology behind him instead of archaic kawie crap... He'd still be winning. Glad to see somebody out there remembers one of the great ones - i quit dez racing when he died - we are the some age. His death still bothers me. Just now i'm getting back into it.
There's no helicopter floating around me when I start a race :o

One of my all time favorite riders. Those Kaw 500's were untouchable.
