yo i hate this too... the player is soooo freaking hard to play against tho cuz you cant really poke check "it" and its HARD to hit. Its also so funny cuz you see the player coming trhough the boards when its on the bench :O
EA released a brand new third roster update that fixed this issue. This happened with my game also, headless players with bright faces. However when you zoom in on their faces in the replay they become headless.
Holy...well, that's why I sold my copy. I hadn't seen those just yet, but the regular crashing and super-slow menus were bad enough. Is this video of the PS3 or XBox? Thanks for posting it!
