most 240z/260z with rear wide bodykit doesn't look streamlined, they tend to look round and bulgy. Yours is superb, and it seems that to match the rear you custom the doors and front panels as well. All these are handmade you say? I wish i have this skill mate. Love fabricating works

I had a '72 with stock engine, pretty sporty driver. I do like the smaller whale tails on them, though(like the aluminum louvers on GM F bodies like my '79 formula), that trend faded away. Outran SDPD several times on twisty suburban streets with it, not as easy as on my FJ1100 but back then the town clowns patrolled in ford fairmonts, what couldn't beat 'em?

I have and honestly they don't really impress me, neither do datsuns with V8's for that matter. The only thing that impresses me is a cars performance regardless of what engine it has. I have studied the RB26 pretty well and I have to say that the cons heavily out weigh the pros when considering a swap into any car. They are heavy, overly complicated, they tend to have several oil issues, there high maintenance, and need to be tuned up regularly. However instead of a 350 I would have used an Ls1

Don't misunderstand me. I think the car is impressive. But I don't neccesarily think it's impressive just becaues it has a V8 in it. However I do belive that a V8 is the best swap you can make in a datsun considering the abundance of kits that exist that make a completely bolt in swap possible rather than heavily modifying the structure. I personally would have chosen an LS1 however given the amount of stock horsepower and torque it produces in combination with it's lightweight alloy block

This thing is ugly, they ruined the lines of the original car buy cutting up the front of this car and putting what looks like a basterdized Toyota Supra 1990 front end on it and the wide body kit looks nice if the front hadn't been messed up, then ruined it further by puting a 350 in where a L28 would have been very sad this car was ruined in this way.

It was purely a custom job , we took the lines of a porsche 928 and twicked it till it came out the way it did, the body work was done about 20 years ago and the 928 were really popular.

I've seen some bloke take a Z31 300ZX and wack a 1UZ-FE engine comlete with twin-turbo. fully rebuilt and strengthened the thing pushed out 500RWKW. Supra gearbox and diff with strengthened gears were helping too. He never timed it but i saw it. Bummer i didnt make a vid. He is gone to Germany together with it :(

She idles just fine, thats called a lumpy cam, thats what happens when you are pushing close to 500hp and running 11.34 in the 1/4 mile on pump gas and street tires.
