  • What program did you use to get the 60i/29.97 fps to 59.94 progressive?

  • hey would you know what the cheapest best camera for twixtor would be? like does it only have to run at 60 fps?

  • @sonic911 Nope! As long as you can get any camera to shoot at 29.97fps at 60i, you can convert it to 59.94 progressive (which gives you 60 unique frames per second). As for twixtor, a good quality camera for any brand will go for roughly $500 to $800.

  • @Lee2008 thanks for replying.....i dont know what 60i is but right now im using a UltraHD Flip Video i know it gets 30fps at 720p...can you do the conversion in after effects?

  • @sonic911 Yup, but with your camera, I would recommend using a combination of frame blending and time remapping via After Effects (more information may be found on Video Copilot). Also, you mentioned "720p at 30fps," which gives you 30 individual frames per sec (p = progressive). If your camera is able to shoot in 720i (i = interlaced), then try that bc the frames are split in a way, thus you can convert one frame into 2 unique frames, giving you 60 individual frames per sec. Hope that helps!

  • @Lee2008 thanks for the help i appreciate it!

  • Hello there, it's hv40 legria, isn't it?
