As far as me complaining, i already complained about them violating my rights so them parking too far is not important to me. Also, its not my problem that you dont like my name. It seems that you should turn the camera on yourself and nit pick everything you do during the day, and post it so others can be critical. It seems that you can only try to be a bully with a camera. You are a coward. These men and women are heros. As I have said before, become a Police officer, I doubt that you can, and perhaps that is why you are a wanna be. Go video tape some gang members doing a drive by, that would be beneficial. Otherwise get a life!

everyone should read the criminal code and procedures and all of the penal codes of california. Then people will understand that we too can file criminal charges against officers. If you do not think what I am saying is true then give me some time and I will post the ones I will be filing with the District Attorney. We are private citizens. They are the PUBLIC SERVANTS. We must not forget who is who.

In other words franjudge, its ok for cops to write citations all day when codes or statutes are violated but when a citizen simply records the officers turning around and violating the same statutes and codes without consequences, its not a good thing? If more people were to pick up a camera and show how officers, who by the way are held to a higher standard, are doing it too then why the hell are we the only ones getting tickets. Are we not all equal? Or are cops just better than us?

Can they park where they want? The answer is yes. The Glendale Municipal Code exempts emergency and utility vehicles from parking restrictions:
10.12.050 Exemptions.
A. The provisions of this title regulating the operation, parking and standing of vehicles shall not apply to any vehicle of the division of police or the division of fire protection, any public ambulance or any public utility vehicle or any private ambulance

This is the California Vehicle Code:
21458. (a) Whenever local authorities enact local parking regulations and indicate them by the use of paint upon curbs, the following colors only shall be used, and the colors indicate as follows:
(1) Red indicates no stopping, standing, or parking, whether the vehicle is attended or unattended, except that a bus may stop in a red zone marked or signposted as a bus loading zone

Where does it say in the penal code that an officer can park wherever they want? Please post it up so that I may see it: This is the Glendale Municipal Code 10.28.190 Parking regulations signs and markings: Red shall mean no stopping, standing or parking at any time, except as permitted by the State Vehicle Code, and except that a bus may stop in a red zone marked or signed as a bus zone.

They should not be allowed to be parked illegally except in an emergency situation. They should be required to follow the same rules that the rest of us are required to follow.

I was not parked in a red zone blocking the fire hydrant. I dont know where you got that from this video! I guess you need people to tell you what to think in order for you to understand. Where does it say in any penal code that an officer or officers can block a fire hydrant that is located in the red zone? Oh, I need to be specific.... In a non emergency situation.
