im not a dancer, i wish that i was, but this is just incredible, you must be so tired of all the compliments, but whenever i have a horrible day at work i look up your vids and its just so calming i cant even explain it. this is not just inspiring to dancers and aspiring dancers but the average person as well, as long as they appreciate good art and this is just one those pieces that deserves to be recognised for what it is. Please post more :)
I disagree with Jaybrose and kaybeedanc. I think this piece is original. Whilst I think that Dena'h "Nostalgia" and the group "Sentimental" are quite similar and maybe also "To Make you feel my love" I think the type of movement is completely different as it is less exploratory in nature and boundary pushing; much softer as well. This would have to be my fav of his group choreography. The group dances as a whole rather than as individual soloists with backup dancers which how I saw "Sentimental"
I am so glad you are able to see the differences...in my eyes this piece is COMPLETELY different from the other pieces on my page. The only one similar is Staralfur or course. : ) Thank you for taking the time to actually look at all aspect of this piece and see that it's no way, shape or form the same as my others. : )
i think this is great... the movement fits the music amazing... but it is also very much like your other choreo... you know people love this stuff but i think you should challenge yourself by doing something new.... this song and this dance is amazing... but it is the same as the last one i saw of yours....
side note... its very bird like and that is how most of my choreo looks too :)
However, this is something fairly new to me...I have only started working on this type of movement since January. I am hoping to keep pressing this idea of movement and let it spawn into a little more. : )
