@Aron51869 There is no such thing as 3:85. Are you high. You can say what you want about Muslems know this. Bad men exist in every religion just remember Christians justified SLAVERY with jesus christ. So lets be fair here.
@ClassyJen234 I didn't do anything on 911 to anyone except help out families in need near the Pentagon who were being harassed by people like you who lump everyone together but would be outraged if it happened to you. Your assumptions speak volumes and its a shame you're beyond any logic or reason. good night.
this is Ramadan! if you don't have anything nice to say stay silent! if you are approached rudely say PEACE! No fighting, lying, stealing, cheating, violence..nothing save peaceful actions and intentions! Do not allow anyone to take your multiplied blessings away during this month. Ask for forgiveness from The Almighty and with each other and then go and do good deeds. :).
@ramy99099 As salaamu 3alaykom ya akhi. I think it might be best to turn off comments for this video as it's becoming a platform for kufaar to come and curse the religion. a7sanAllaahu ilayka.

the Qur'an is amazing. if read in a right manner, you can't help it but cry and sometimes you don't know why, only that it's the holy Qur'an. other times, it seems like the Qur'an is speaking to you.
the Qur'an is our miracle and the world's only existing miracle.
true, but don't forget only one is true and it will stand out from all the rest.
read in all the religions and you will find one that is worthy of being God's way.
God's name in islam is Allah الله in arabic if you take any part of the name, it would still refer to Allah,
الله , لله , اله , له , ه (هو).
read how every God describes himself and compare them and you would know which god is God and which is not. read the Quran and compare it to other religious books.
i seriously do not intend to add controversy but the imam has his hands crossed as opposed to holding his chest, maybe its allowed please someone explain thanks, plus hes left hand is over his right, maybe he is disabled allahu alam. May Allah give him jazzaaul khair.
brother djenna3ali its quite clear from my commment i was not having a go at the imam, so pls dont get carried away, i asked for the sake of learning if you dont know the answer to my question you dont need to comment. As far as i know your not allowed to put your left hand over your right, but for whatever reason the imam done it he knows im not here to judge ppls intentions but rights and wrongs of practice is what im asking about. totally a theological question, nothing todowith human weaknes
7ebibi ho hoho :P i was not in an offence. i just wanted to tell you for the sake of understanding. i can understand why you think im offensive, there is no tune in the voice of writing
i knew why you said what you said its all good
and if i hurt your feelings unintentionally then seme7li
As salamu 'alaikkum remember the Salah is still valid whether he puts his right hand over his left hand or not, because this is an act of sunnah and not an act of obligation. Whereas if he omits an action of obligation his salah will not be valid, which means the prayer of the people behind him will not be valid as well. Also he is not doing it on purpose, he is tired, because he probably has been leading for a long time. Lets not blow up this small issue into big. And Allah T'ala knows best
TO RAMSHOBRAJI : yes you made me mad by disrespecting my prophet...but it is ok you will regret it when you are judged in the hereafter. i am telling you this not only for disrespecting islam but any religion.
and for my brothers and sisters be strong and be better then this ignorant man.just say may god forgive him
masaAllah nice voice BUT i dont understand hes hands how hi is putting them.. i think its wrong..sorry my eng.. :) anyway masaAllah.. i live in finland and i would like so so so much to go to this mosk and pray.. insaAllah maybe i will some day :) Selaam brothers
Let's not get caught up with where to put our arms/hands brother. We have enough people out there trying to divide us. There's no compulsion in Islam; inshallah we will be judged on our intentions. Allah knows best. Wailakumussalaam :)
Islam has been hijacked by people with vested interest over the past 1400 years.
Religion which started as a simplified concept of God has been converted into a excessively regimented faith system againts the basic teachings of Islam.
are they mostly north africans n stuff? coz they all cross their arms the whole way, as opposed to at the wrists n i think that madhab is most common in north africa.
AND NO! WE ARE NOT SHIAAS. This is masjid is built upon the fpundation of Ahl ul Sunnah wal Jama3... Again to reasure you,the position of his hands is due to Soulder problems. So he can't raise them up after a while. you're only watch ten min of recitation, meanwhile he stands for 3hrs.
Again the reason why he has his hands in this position is because he has shoulder problems, and after a while he gets really really tired in having them in one position. this was already brought to his attention, Please keep in mind you are only watching 10 mins of recitation, meanwhile he stands for 3 hrs with his sholdier issues.
Mansha'Allah what an Amazing voice indeed. He does sound a lot like Mishary, but I like this guy's voice better. I respect both, may Allah guide them and make them true in IMaan. The holy Quran is beautiful no mattar which sheikh reads it. I pray to Allah to bless me with the ability to read the Quran this beautifully...Amiin!!
Brother you are right. But i was thinking, since they already know how to read Quran with tajweed aswell they would know how to read salaah properly, at our masjid our little kids cannot read quran properly but they can read salaah just like an adult, althought i love this brothers qiraat!! :D
ur comment is re. the shaikhs position in salaah? the folding of the hands whether on ur navel between ur navel and chest or on ur chest or even leaving to ur side these are from the hay'aat of the salaah The movements or actions of salaah that are considered sunnah and shud not be confused with the rukn(pillars) or waajibat (the obligatory actions) of salaah. coz without these two ur salah is either invalid or in error. the sunnahs are additional and dont affect ur salaah negatively
fresh, let's not criticize without knowledge unless you are a Mujtahid yourself... there are different school of thoughts on such things... none of us here is knowledgeable to pass judgments on these things.
I'm searching for someone within the Muslim faith to possibly establish an understanding between the Christian, Muslim and Jewish faiths. Again, maybe, just maybe, we could help find a common ground so that all can live in true peace. Hindu, Buddist...all...
Insha-Allah I'll respond with a video of Sheikh Mokdam Al-Hadary. He used to be the Imam at Masjid Al-Iman at Astoria several years back. His voice is also beautiful and moving.
How come the reciter and the men behind him are folding their arms? They are supposed to put their left hand on the chest and their right hand on top of it. May Allah guide us all towards the correct ways.
Subhan Allah. You have no knowledge and yet you speak as u knew. You are gonna be asked for this in the day of resurection. that why did u speak when u didnt know ?
Theres different ways of putting the hand, not only 1. Theres different narrations of Authentic ahadith wich indicates it.
Muhammad saws says in a Sahih Hadith that if a person protects his mouth and what is between his legs, he will go to Jannah.
This tells us how dangerous it is to speak of no knowledge.
I aint saying anything different than what I heard from a Sunni scholar who belongs with the people of assunna wal jama3ah, those who follow the Sunnah of our prophets. I was there IN THE MOSQUE, I SAW HIS MOUTH MOVING, and I HEARD THE WORDS coming from him. Is that clear enough for you?
Subhan Allah. So you follow him blindly ? That is not Ahlu Sunna wal Jama3a. Ahlu Sunnah wal Jama3a follows the sunnah through Ahadith. Where is yours ?
The whole reason it matters is that, you cannot invent your own way of worshipping God. It is as the way the prophet has worshipped God. If everyone were to pray the way they wanted, then it wouldn't be Islam anymore.
Maybe, just maybe, we can establish an intelligent and sincere dialouge. In your religion, you say that Jesus Christ was a prophet. In the Christian religion, they say he was the son of God in human flesh. Jesus taught us to pray to God, you pray the Lord's prayer. "Our father, who art in heaven,..." Given that written history is accurate 2,500 years and more, Jesus pre dates Mohamed by more than 800 years. In your opnion, which is taeching is more "original" and "true"? Why? On what bases?
First, i'm glad that you would want a 'sincere dialogue'. Regarding my opinion on which scripture is more original or true, i, myself do not have an opinion. What i believe is what God says in the Quran. "2:59 But the transgressors changed the word from that which had been given them; so We sent on the transgressors a plague from heaven, for that they infringed (Our command) repeatedly." -The Holy Quran. This verse is talking about the Jews who were given the correct scripture then changed it.
Thanx for answering. In the Catholic faith, (as well as Greek Orthodox), it is written that Jesus asked Petros (Peter) to be the foundation of "HIS" church. To "lighten the load" of all the manuscripts that were hand written, the Apostles chose only four gospels in the new testament BUT kept the old testament as was repeated in tales since before the time of Moses. Given that Jesus told the "old priests" that the times were to be changed allowing for the new law, (New testament), Cont'd....
Cont'd...thereby giving us a new law and the stories concerning the teachings of Jesus, should we not embrace the "Old Testament" as historical yet follow the "New Testament" as the new law? Given that the Holy Quran, The Torah and the Old Testament are somewhat different in literal translation, they all somewhat teach the samr history? I will agree that "Christian" beliefs and law have been "contaminated" since the break up of the Original Catholic Church when Luther broke out Cont'd...
Cont'd... from the church and now we have Baptists, Methodists, Lutherns, Espicopalians etc. all competing to say "their" church is the true word. Is this the same concerning the Sheites, Baths, Sunis etc.? It seems that all of us holding signs that say "hooray for our side" just isn't working so we pick up guns. I'm sure God never intended us to be violent and to be killing his children everywhere. It seems to be that Religious tolerance to each other has to happen for peace to occur.
The difference between Baptists, Methodists, Lutherns, etc., is that they follow different books. This is not true with Sunni, Shiite, Salaf, etc.; They all follow the one Holy Quran. The only difference is their interpretation. I definitely believe that we should have tolerance towards other religions and that any acts of violence that prohibit this tolerance should be condemned.
I also, could see one's frustration in trying to discern which religion is "True", but one must look for the evidence, not the opinions of what 'so and so' might have. Following man's opinion will lead you astray.
You know? So far I believe we are on the same page. My religion is Catholic. We can trace the teachings back to Jesus Christ and "Peter" our first Pope. In fact, we have Peter entombed in the vaticdant to this day. The majority of the "other" Christian religions can be trace back to their begining just as far back as the last 150 years. )THey didn't like some of the belisfs and practices and thus "created" their own new churchs. I, for one, like original. I have my original wife of 34 years cont
con't...I believe in the longevity of respect, I respect the ancient cultures, including the Indian natives of South America, the original American native Indians, The ancient religious beliefs and followings etc. Some of us may be wrong in one interpretation of the ancient texts and some of us may have commited an error in one translation or the other BUT we stand true to the one true and everlasting God whether he be called "Dios, Allah, Great Spirit or God". Man is not perfect but "HE" is...

the Qur'an is amazing. if read in a right manner, you can't help it but cry and sometimes you don't know why, only that it's the holy Qur'an. other times, it seems like the Qur'an is speaking to you.
the Qur'an is our miracle and the world's only existing miracle.
Allah is the almighty God.
Mohammed is his prophet and messenger.
Islam is the truth.

people say the same thing in other faiths as well, not saying you are wrong, to each his own.
theshakedownstreet 2 years ago
true, but don't forget only one is true and it will stand out from all the rest.
read in all the religions and you will find one that is worthy of being God's way.
God's name in islam is Allah الله in arabic if you take any part of the name, it would still refer to Allah,
الله , لله , اله , له , ه (هو).
read how every God describes himself and compare them and you would know which god is God and which is not. read the Quran and compare it to other religious books.

As far as i know your not allowed to put your left hand over your right, but for whatever reason the imam done it he knows im not here to judge ppls intentions but rights and wrongs of practice is what im asking about. totally a theological question, nothing todowith human weaknes

Islam has been hijacked by people with vested interest over the past 1400 years.
Religion which started as a simplified concept of God has been converted into a excessively regimented faith system againts the basic teachings of Islam.

That is true of all religions brother, but if you go back to the authentic sunnah and the Quran you will find the true Islam

This is the problem with muslims:They are ever eager to attack and ridicule each other to prove who is a better muslim.
No wonder : Islam has 73 sects and nobody knows what exactly Islam is about.

AND NO! WE ARE NOT SHIAAS. This is masjid is built upon the fpundation of Ahl ul Sunnah wal Jama3... Again to reasure you,the position of his hands is due to Soulder problems. So he can't raise them up after a while. you're only watch ten min of recitation, meanwhile he stands for 3hrs.
ramy99099 3 years ago
Again the reason why he has his hands in this position is because he has shoulder problems, and after a while he gets really really tired in having them in one position. this was already brought to his attention, Please keep in mind you are only watching 10 mins of recitation, meanwhile he stands for 3 hrs with his sholdier issues.

Freshiemc123 3 years ago
ur comment is re. the shaikhs position in salaah? the folding of the hands whether on ur navel between ur navel and chest or on ur chest or even leaving to ur side these are from the hay'aat of the salaah The movements or actions of salaah that are considered sunnah and shud not be confused with the rukn(pillars) or waajibat (the obligatory actions) of salaah. coz without these two ur salah is either invalid or in error. the sunnahs are additional and dont affect ur salaah negatively
goldisoc 3 years ago
fresh, let's not criticize without knowledge unless you are a Mujtahid yourself... there are different school of thoughts on such things... none of us here is knowledgeable to pass judgments on these things.

How come the reciter and the men behind him are folding their arms? They are supposed to put their left hand on the chest and their right hand on top of it. May Allah guide us all towards the correct ways.
Nebulous1982 3 years ago
What? You think it really matters where you put your hands?
cabritorsss 3 years ago
Of course it matters. You can see the reciter put his hands on his chest in the correct way at the beginning , then his arms are then folded.
Nebulous1982 3 years ago
Subhan Allah. You have no knowledge and yet you speak as u knew. You are gonna be asked for this in the day of resurection. that why did u speak when u didnt know ?
Theres different ways of putting the hand, not only 1. Theres different narrations of Authentic ahadith wich indicates it.
Muhammad saws says in a Sahih Hadith that if a person protects his mouth and what is between his legs, he will go to Jannah.
This tells us how dangerous it is to speak of no knowledge.
BattalinBabasi 3 years ago
I aint saying anything different than what I heard from a Sunni scholar who belongs with the people of assunna wal jama3ah, those who follow the Sunnah of our prophets. I was there IN THE MOSQUE, I SAW HIS MOUTH MOVING, and I HEARD THE WORDS coming from him. Is that clear enough for you?
Nebulous1982 3 years ago
I said the exact same thing as puhovac, and he is right.
Nebulous1982 3 years ago
Subhan Allah. So you follow him blindly ? That is not Ahlu Sunna wal Jama3a. Ahlu Sunnah wal Jama3a follows the sunnah through Ahadith. Where is yours ?
BattalinBabasi 3 years ago
[The Prophet] (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to place his right HAND on his left HAND. (Narrated by Muslim, 401).
Nebulous1982 3 years ago
It was narrated that Sahl ibn Sad said: The people were commanded to put the right hand over the left forearm when praying.
Abu Haazim said: I only know that this is attributed to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 707).
As you can see theres different narrations wich is Saheeh. So how come u say your openion is right and mine is wrong ?
Be 100% sure what u write. And if you are not sure then leave it.
Its a Nasiha so take it insha'Allah
BattalinBabasi 3 years ago
The whole reason it matters is that, you cannot invent your own way of worshipping God. It is as the way the prophet has worshipped God. If everyone were to pray the way they wanted, then it wouldn't be Islam anymore.
redman19892003 3 years ago
Maybe, just maybe, we can establish an intelligent and sincere dialouge. In your religion, you say that Jesus Christ was a prophet. In the Christian religion, they say he was the son of God in human flesh. Jesus taught us to pray to God, you pray the Lord's prayer. "Our father, who art in heaven,..." Given that written history is accurate 2,500 years and more, Jesus pre dates Mohamed by more than 800 years. In your opnion, which is taeching is more "original" and "true"? Why? On what bases?
cabritorsss 3 years ago
First, i'm glad that you would want a 'sincere dialogue'. Regarding my opinion on which scripture is more original or true, i, myself do not have an opinion. What i believe is what God says in the Quran. "2:59 But the transgressors changed the word from that which had been given them; so We sent on the transgressors a plague from heaven, for that they infringed (Our command) repeatedly." -The Holy Quran. This verse is talking about the Jews who were given the correct scripture then changed it.
redman19892003 3 years ago
This shows that, all that Judiasm, Christianity, and other scriptures that were sent down from God were changed so they do not remain as "original"
redman19892003 3 years ago
As to "Christianity", "Judiasm" etc., how it is nowadays; i do not believe those are the word of God for many reasons.
1. None of them are authentic enough to say that "This is what Jesus said" or "This is what Moses said"
2. They're are scientific fallacies as well as plain illogical errors in them.
3. (Most importantly) They do not provide any proof that they are the word of God.
redman19892003 3 years ago
Thanx for answering. In the Catholic faith, (as well as Greek Orthodox), it is written that Jesus asked Petros (Peter) to be the foundation of "HIS" church. To "lighten the load" of all the manuscripts that were hand written, the Apostles chose only four gospels in the new testament BUT kept the old testament as was repeated in tales since before the time of Moses. Given that Jesus told the "old priests" that the times were to be changed allowing for the new law, (New testament), Cont'd....
cabritorsss 3 years ago
Cont'd...thereby giving us a new law and the stories concerning the teachings of Jesus, should we not embrace the "Old Testament" as historical yet follow the "New Testament" as the new law? Given that the Holy Quran, The Torah and the Old Testament are somewhat different in literal translation, they all somewhat teach the samr history? I will agree that "Christian" beliefs and law have been "contaminated" since the break up of the Original Catholic Church when Luther broke out Cont'd...
cabritorsss 3 years ago
Cont'd... from the church and now we have Baptists, Methodists, Lutherns, Espicopalians etc. all competing to say "their" church is the true word. Is this the same concerning the Sheites, Baths, Sunis etc.? It seems that all of us holding signs that say "hooray for our side" just isn't working so we pick up guns. I'm sure God never intended us to be violent and to be killing his children everywhere. It seems to be that Religious tolerance to each other has to happen for peace to occur.
cabritorsss 3 years ago
The difference between Baptists, Methodists, Lutherns, etc., is that they follow different books. This is not true with Sunni, Shiite, Salaf, etc.; They all follow the one Holy Quran. The only difference is their interpretation. I definitely believe that we should have tolerance towards other religions and that any acts of violence that prohibit this tolerance should be condemned.
redman19892003 3 years ago
please do not compare rafidis (shia sect) with the sunna wel ja'ma in any way we do not have anyting in common......
joj1702 3 years ago
I'm sorry, what do you mean?
redman19892003 3 years ago
I also, could see one's frustration in trying to discern which religion is "True", but one must look for the evidence, not the opinions of what 'so and so' might have. Following man's opinion will lead you astray.
redman19892003 3 years ago
I have my original wife of 34 years cont
cabritorsss 3 years ago
con't...I believe in the longevity of respect, I respect the ancient cultures, including the Indian natives of South America, the original American native Indians, The ancient religious beliefs and followings etc. Some of us may be wrong in one interpretation of the ancient texts and some of us may have commited an error in one translation or the other BUT we stand true to the one true and everlasting God whether he be called "Dios, Allah, Great Spirit or God". Man is not perfect but "HE" is...
