The book is one of the most touching novels I've ever read. I don't think any book has made me cry as much as this one did, the characters are so real, and you feel all of the pain they go through. It's so tragic, but such an amazing novel <3

this is a wonderfull movie first of all.

i say shame to all these stupid afghan artists that are putting a unbalanc3 fucked up story which is against one race in AFG. this fil shows a harami father fuck a woman,then his son gets raped and then his grandson got raped and they all shows the hazara character.....you bastered this is too early to make this kind of movie ...it is not made yet for people to accept..

this is one of the best films by marc foster (like stranger than fiction).

i cried when amir read the letter written by hassan when he learned how to read and write. very disturbing yet true , a masterpiece. i must read the novel!
