The most stupid part is when DeNiro spots a sniper and start shooting. Why they have positioned sniper so poorely that he can take him out by a handgun?!

1. He would remain hidden in some building at least 300m from the exchange place, not so close to the stage.

2. Why did he shoot the sniper in the first place? If sniper wanted to kill them, he would have done that while they were in the open space, he wouldn't have to wait for them to go under the bridge?

1. hidden in a building 300m from the exchange is something a special forces trained sniper would do, not thugs and thieves which these guys were, especially with the targets under a bridge at night,

2. the sniper doesn't make the decision when to kill them, not unless things go wrong, the boss makes that call. And if he's smart he'll only make that call when he knows the target has what they want first and that they can't get away.

It's not a bad movie but is exaggerated a bit. With this many shootings and car accidents I think French Army would chasing them, not just police... :)
