This is one of the hardest songs I have learnt, I have been playing 2 year or so, 25years on keyboard, but started guitar 2 year ago, and this song is the one that took the longest to learn, to get every little bit down right it is hard work man, their are still parts I am not 100% on. dire striates was the best band ever, all of marks stuff was hard to play, I started on nirvana which seemed easy compared to straits, do U know anyone that is selling a sf dr or sf pr ?

@stvolo I have got a bassman 100 off a friend, 1971, great sounding amp, for 100 watts it is not as loud as my 40 w HRDx, older amps are not as loud, which is better for me, as I can have it on 4 in the garage easy, great sounding amp, I really love the tone, I don't think U could buy a better amp for the money, PTP hand wired great

fingerpicking not exclusively as MK.... I use a pick but I'm able to use stroking and plucking with pick and fingers. good to take the edge of the rythmn.. I also can cup the pick and roll with the fingers don't drop picks much .. no dancing crew here just me so I keep moving ..
