I've used a 7.62x39mm sako rk95-tp, and even that had a very low recoil in my opinion. I cant imagine how easy it would be to shoot 9mm or even the 5.56.

If you have to have a registered fully transferable weapon i.e. an individual a lot more depending on exactly what you buy: factory 'machine gun', registered receiver conversion, registered auto sear, etc. You could write a book on the different conversion methods legally used to get FA with HK weapons. Figure 10K-25K.

@miker200711 It actually is very easy with an MP5 my dad sells bulletproof glass, doors, and door frames and they all have to be rated to take 25 rounds of 9mm in a one inch area of the material because 9mm sub machine guns like the MP5 can throw so many rounds through the same hole due to their superior controllability. @triggerfingas the 9mm cartridge is not target round however in hk mp5 you get good 'combat' groups' 1.58 inch group, 5 sho,t bench rested at 25 yards (from hk manual)

my .22 mp5 is although is much more accurate 1 inch group at 25 yards
