  • That man invented rockabilly! No more, no Les!

  • @ZUXAZZ

    Dude........

He invented the electric guitar, not the musical form.

    Notably, he made rockabilly possible.

But his donation was the instrument, my friend.

    Meow.

  • RIP Les, there would be nothing without him ...

  • Please forgive me if I am reading you guys wrong (bigassmatic and SoutherNproud15)...but are you saying in general Chet and Les inspired you? Because if this song is from the LP/MF show, wouldn't this be Les and Mary playing?

  • this is badass i was inspired to play jazz guitar by chet atkins and les paul

  • Man you gotta love the classics like ol chet atkins and les paul !!!!!!

  • The original 'Rocker'!

    RIP Les..

  • If you really want to hear more of his rock beat, listen to "Blues Stay Away from Me" (which featured Mary Ford singing) on one of the radio shows from the mp3 disc this came off. It had The original rock and roll beat that was on so many of the rock and roll recordings in the late 50's.

  • This is great where did you find that photo at?

  • Rest in peace, Les. It was an honor and a pleasure to have you in our lives for as long as we did!
