@martiin5678 She's not trying to impersonate Whitney Houston. Whitney Houston was, and still is, Charice's role model and one of the few singers Charice looks up to. Her songs are very special to Charice because they helped her win singing contests for her family's food and shelter but if there is a real reason on why she won, it's because of her talent. Whitney Houston is a very outstanding singer, so it's a given a lot of people would sing her song, not only Charice.

Singing live will definitely be different and much better sounding than studio versions. People have to remember that studios are these small rooms that are padded to deaden the sound and prevent background noise from being recorded.
