After at least 5 years of trying to work out what these two black beasts that I'd see from afar once a year driving around South Australia I finally pulled up alongside one on the weekend and found out about it was a continental. The owner was very friendly and told me all about his black Continental built June 69.
What a beast, theres gonna be one less in the US by the end of the year now...
Yeah my friend taped me doing that on my Lincoln... It's kinda funny because I own two Lincoln Contientals but as you can see in the backround, my dad and I are also both Mopar fans (The Dodge Ram 3500 and a Chrysler LHS)
@brakedd - You're not wrong, I had a '72 black on black Mark IV just like this one, maybe got 8mpg on a good day. My 36ft RV with a V10 gets about the same!
very nice, lincolns should defently sound as tough as they look the way you got your lincoln set up is the same way with my 73 lincoln IV. A 460 motor and duel glasspacks it's the only way to go on these cars. You just can't beat that rough sound they make it's as awsome as it gets.
This car is sexy

Abstinent design, giant size, soft suspension and a 460 under the hood... Who needs GPSs, DVDs or even HUDs?
