  • @mpcc2022 What are you talking about all the training is sport practical. It has to be thats why our athletes domininate

  • @11byrd11 for movement to be sport's specific which is what i should have said not practical the action must duplicate a given joint action follow the same neural pathway and duplicate the exact same muscular contraction that takes place during the given action. Most of this is just explosive training and explosive strength training not technique or specific development. Who amongst you truly understand the Bio-mechanics of sports. Running with resistance is not going to teach proper technique.

  • @mpcc2022 we do stuff thats more sports specific but its not shown in the video. But honestly my strength coach at a major college traIned and NFL team. and on youtube he says all training is functional. So everything in the video is functional. and we do spend lots of time on running form, agility form and sport biomechanics. i know these things are important i ran 4.36 40 i cant show too much. the video is to peak interest because other trainers on you tube stealing information

  • @11byrd11 Yes but from what is shown in the cutting for instance they cut off of two legs instead of planting on one leg and turning off of the same leg, no one running performs Paw back or runs from the hip with knee extension and flexion. It's a brilliant highlight and a lot better than a lot of other programs, but it's not Marv's work or should be associated as such. It's not the same product, this will make good athletes on a HS College and maybe Pro level Marv creates world class.

  • @mpcc2022 The thing is we have a blend of different training methods. Some athletes we put on a pure Marv Program. Some athletes receive more of blend of different training. Due to experimentation we have found we get much better results mixing other training methods than just simply doing Isokenetics, ballwork balance and conework

  • @11byrd11 You don't to seem to understand what I'm it's the duplication of the given joint actions following neural pathways and replicating the exact muscular contraction is what makes something sport specific. understanding Bio-mechanics is understanding applied anatomy and physiology. What your saying your doing isn't what your really doing. Who executes technique better is the best athlete technique is sport specific your just making all around athletes.
