vorrei chiederti anche io una cosa. io ho intenzione di acquistarlo, e metterlo dietro la scrivania ( nascosto, non molto acessibile). volevo sapere se per accenderlo bisogna premere ogni volta il pulsante di accensione quando si stacca la corrente.

@stefanenco Ciao, non occorre ne spegnerlo ne accenderlo ogni volta...si avvia automaticamente non appena accendi il Mac. Si spegne soltanto dopo un tot di tempo lungo se il Mac è in standby

io sto pensando di prendere quello da 2TB per fare due sezioni, una per il backup da 1tb del Mac con Time Machine e l'altra partizione per hdd pure e semplice per mkv vari. Solo che mi piaceva più la versione grigia senza display ma con il led..più semplice e pulita come linea. Poi diciamoci la verità: chi è che va a guardare il display dell'hdd che sta dietro al computer? :)

Hi mareskino! If I may ask, does the free space indicated on the display correspond to the free space indicated by the finder? As the drive when unboxed reports 930GB as 1TB (the infamous 1KB=1024B question) whilst the finder reports 1TB as 1TB (1KB=1000B) I was wondering if, when connected to the mac, it reports a value equals to the one reported by the finder or no :/

Daisy chain means to connect another My Book hdd to the hdd currently connected to your computer so you can have two or more hdds with only one FW port. I think that's why that cable is short so you can put two hdds next to each other. Thanks for your video, I just picked mine up this morning and hoping it doesn't die on me in the near future.
