  • I Would Have Done The Same What Crono Did If I Was Him

  • @heeroshin1 Yeah, except Crono comes back later on... was pretty shocking the first time it happened though

  • Cronos Has Alot Of Care For His Friends Since He Sacrificed Himself

  • THE PROPHET WAS MAGUS!?!?!!?!?!??!?!?!?

  • For me, the easiest way to defeat the golemtwins is equiping the

white vest and white mail on chrono and frog, and just let the other one die, and just spam spire.

  • I Had Luminaire In This Battle. then It Was EASY As Epic Pie.

  • I simply spammed chrono's thunder 2 or whatever it's called and had Marle spam cure to keep them alive. I also had ayla in my party but i just let her die so i could do my cheap tactic.

  • It would be easier, if they didn't use Iron Orb :((((.

    Iron Orb ftl.

  • @gleeson638

    I did.

  • When I beat, the Golem sisters, this was my team's status...

    Zodai(Chrono)Hp:68

    Alya:Hp:1

    Marle:Hp:1

They were HARD. In the end, I just spammed luminare.

    *Uses shelter before Lavos*

  • P.S

    Levels(After fight)

    Chrono:40

    Alya:39

    Marle:39

Also, I acctually survived the destructionraining...Then Lavos used Chaos frenzy and pwned the last 45 HP Chrono had left to the dust...

  • Good job Frog wasn't there as it would be a paradox for two versions of the same weapon to exist in the same point in time and space.

  • i got killed arrghhh i was so close

  • So there's about 0 chance of beating this Lavos on the first playthrough. (Which is said to be the hardest Lavos)

  • Yeah, that 'Destruction rains from the heavens!' thing is -painful-. Other than that it's not so bad IIRC, his attacks just hurt more than those of his spawn. The main problem is that you have no protection from the instant death spells of his other forms yet. That stuff becomes available right after this fight, with Fiona's Quest. If you -do- manage to beat him here (i.e. using cheats, and I presume in New Game+) you get the Dream Team ending with the developer's room and the sped up credits.

  • Fiona's quest becomes available as soon as you tell someone in Zeal to plant the seed in secret. You could theoretically do that quest before you get the Epoch.

  • Nothing like watching the main character get vaporized right in front of your eyes. It rates up there with Aries dying on my first play thru.

  • and also with Blank being petrified in ff9

  • That's true, He got stoned... Literally

  • I found that using Robo and Ayla's Boogie Tech was the easiest way to defeat the GolemTwins (Or Golem Sisters, as they're called in the DS version)

  • I believe I have yet to use a status inflicting tech in this game. Maybe that changes when I do my first challenge.

  • Well I tried everything, including the Kitchen Sink, until I found out that Boogie inflicts Stop, so I tried that, and then I learned that Golems are NOT immune to Stop.

Then I just spammed Twister over and over, which dealt MASSIVE amounts of damage (2000+) until both Golems died.

  • Attack of the Giant Space Porcupine! :O

  • He's referred to as the "ugly over-sized hedgehog" in the guide I've been using for all the items :P

  • Damn, I think this is one of the moments I like most in this game. Lavos coming out of the earth and the other scenes. It's just fantastic!

  • Love this section

  • good video

  • i remember fighting the twins when i was 4, and had the 4 year old mind... THERE BIG ATTACK THEM! and then got owned by there physical copy attacks.
