looked like he attached a air hose.....who would trust air to lift a fucken car that they cay is "safe" for you to go under and to work to transmission and shit....i have lift exactly like this but from manufactur mohawk..
@darkertree To clarify, on the basis of your succinct comments, this lift does not use air to lift a car, it uses a 2.2KW hydraulic motor connected to two rams to do the lifting. Air is used to release the safety mechanism when the lift is lowered, as we have stated above these lifts have full CE certification (a passive safety device remotely operated). We are delighted your Mohawk lift works well, so do these as many happy users will testify.
you don't with this lift, we, and others, also supply platform scissor lifts which can also be mobile and afford unrestricted centre access, see our website for details
Does it have some kinda locking mechanism when it's holding the vehicle off of the floor? If not it is a death trap. I have seen the result of failed hydraulics and just how fast things can come down in a screaming heap with someone trapped underneath!
All our lifts have ratchet locking saety devices, there are two hydraulic rams and a passive (works under gravity) ratchet system in the middle of the rams which locks into place as the lift rises. You need a compressor to release the ratchet to bring the lift down. If there were a hydraulic failure the safety device will hold the load, lift has CE certification backed by independent testing.

@schl0tte ,,,,,,,,,,You can use a typical and immense american ramp,,,, Why are you looking for a problem in the European technology?
