@MrRatchet68 I was reading something that Tai told Dizzy (the cowboy) That he would handle Skorge by himself and told Dizzy to run away. In which Dizzy did and he wished Tai the best of luck. But apparently Skorge must've defeated Tai and had him captured and tortured which made him mental and suicidal.

The reason that Tai committed suicide was because of something his grandfather told him far before E-Day. His grandfather said that if the soul dies, the body should follow. Tai realized his soul had left him, and made the decision.

i think the real reason was because in the pendulum war his most trusted comrade died and then checked his body and found an amulet. in the beggining he didnt know what it meant but as the years came by he started to know what the amulet meant. that maybe he should have died with his friend before eday came so it was either kill himself or go on as a soul taker

@Hyuri he was chainsawed by Skorge, that's why Dizzy survived. Tai was in the floor while he was grabbing a leg of Skorge, Dizzy saw it but Tai said it that he should scape, that's why Dizzy survived and that's why Tai has all those marks on his back. :/

In one of the extras for the war journal, it mentions 2 of Ben Carmine's brothers. Anthony (he was in Gears 1) and Clay Carmine.

From what it looks like when it mentioned Clay, he has military experience. While Anthony and Ben had none. Since Clay has experience, there's a possibility that Clay will make it to the end of the next Gears of War, that's if he's in it.
