No, it is heading west. The train is filmed from the northern platform next to the wall.

oh, because i remember catcing a eurostar back to London at Lille years ago and it was coming the other way!
is there two sets of platform at Lille Europe?
Yes, there are two platforms with two tracks each. In the middle, there are two tracks for non-stop passage of (mainly) trains covering Eurostar services between Paris and London.
