This is a glitch, i.e an in-game loophole and not a hack, which is external modification of content. I guess you could make the point that hackers are more likely to use glitches.. but then again anyone can do this if they want, also all the people who use this glitch would be doing it to max out their characters, thereby effectively removing themselves from normal online play because of soul level limits. Your point is invalid.

it has been pathced, I suggest if youbuy the game to make sure you're not connected to XBox Live when you first start the game, if you know the way you are able to sprint all the way down there from the start of the game, really easy if you have the master key, you jsut need to aquire a soul first. make a contraption to hold the button pushed and leave it over night, you'll need two different souls if you want to max out every stat cause 999'999'999 isn't enought to max out.

You can use the glitch by deleting the patch. You cant be in the middle of the game one second, delete the patch, then pick up where you were.Your game is not compatible because you have to start a new character after the patch is deleted.

I'm using the gold hemmed robe because it's light and looks awesome and magic is boring, my weapon is my +10 fire scythe and my +10 uchicatana. dex build for the win. and miracles are a given one ofcourse with the ivory idol.

@josefranciscocool actually there is a 10% rule which was implemented to keep the pvp a bit fairer than demon souls where i.e. if your soul level is 100 you only fight and encounter players from soul level 90-110 in pvp since 10% of 100 is 10 so you add and subtract separately to your soul level 10% of the amount and you can find out the range of players you would encounter, although i do not know what will happen if nobody is within your soul levels adjusted range.seeing phantoms is unaffected.
