This was such a great game. It was one a fell in love with after only playing a little bit oif it, even with the really sad parts in the beginning. Still it was a great game I played again so I could get all 108 stars of destiny.

Yeh, the days of when the best games existed, has now passed. Games with love, fantasy, sadness, feelings, truth, they made you feel something, like in Suikoden 2 with u and your best friend and how it turned out from start to the end. Same as Suikoden 1 with ur father etc, how u build up ur castle, recruit your best friends and those who care for you, etc.

It's awesome to hear that you are giving Suikoden some love. I still have my original copies of the first and second game and play them occasionally when I need to reminisce :)

I would have to say my favorite character for the game itself has to be Stallion, where as he shortens the traveling time immensely. But my favorite char based on story role in the game has to be Victor. Nothing beats his careless rebel style as well as his brute strength. I love him bickering with Star Dragon Sword :)

I played Suikoden when I was around 10-11 years old, and English isn't my first language. I got pretty far, but then my copy was stolen. Can't remember much. In fact what I remember most is gambling for money. I think dice(but might be wrong), and definitely cups with a hidden object.

I remember my first playthrough of Suikoden. I really liked Gremio as well. That kind of self-sacrificing loyalty is hard to find, even in RPGs. You only really see it a handful of times really.

Several people recommended that I play Suikoden, but I refused. My main reason for not trying it was because of the vast amount of characters in the game, which would cause a lot of mixup for me. But that was just a first impression. Why didn't I listen?! Grrr! I have some catching up to do. Until then...more requests:
