As to what Albanian is, linguistics and historians are not sure or they do no have a definite answer last time I checked. But most say is Illyrian, some believe is Thraco-Illyrian, While others link it to other languages.

"Shqiptar blood" doesn't exist. The Albanians are probably descendants of Thracians who came to present-day Albania much later. Their lexicon shows prolonged contact with Balkan Latin tribes (ie, what would later be the Romanians). If not Thracians, they are Illyrians from Central-North Albania, that is above the Jirecek line since their vocabulary is influenced by Latin rather than Greek.
Watch out, you might have a few Slav and Roman ancestors in your woodpile, "full-blooded Shqiptar".
