@kevenzz Yeah, we just had that and one other misspelling corrected in the open - so yeah, we're on top of fixing this stuff (BTW, I'm John from Retroware TV who edits the show)
SLICK PAT. its just as well produced, interesting and entertaining as TV is. THIS is the reason i rarely watch TV. I have an under the TV PC and i never turn regular TV on. this is one of the reasons why, welcome to the future
I love this show already, I will definitely be watching the other episodes. :) And I loved "Grand Theft Auto". Ron Howard cannot do a film as cool as that one nowadays.
Pat please do not attend E3 until the ESA pull out from there stance to support from Sopa, Please Thumbs this up people so he can see it as he is a very big supporter in the fight against SOPA. the bill may be frozen for a min but the fight isnt over yet!
shit man, i still have a chucky cheese where i live! all these 70s and 80s work buildings and stores, like video land, and hella good wills...i remember always wanting to get tickets, but was to pathetic, so i went and pissed in the tubes and ball pits...wow i fucking want to smoke some joints in the chucky cheese joint! and dam fucking nostalgia aaaaah i love this stuff pat. peace and love all
@mozzmanau Just because they weren't alive back then doesn't mean they didn't do their research. If you watch these guys you know they love video games in general, so it's not surprising they would want to learn more about them. This is giving some history on the era. They aren't trying to act like they were there.
@whatsup89100 Probably not. If anything, we'll post up a teaser of upcoming episode parts. So when parts 3 and 4 come out for 1977, I'll let you know.
True, Spider-Man was created in 1962 but I believe they were referring to the live action show "The Amazing Spider-Man" from 1977, hence the clip from the show.
Yes I got that, but it makes like the show inspired video games about Spiderman, when really it would be the Spiderman comics that made people want Spidey video games.
@PatTheNESpunk AVGN is god, NES punk is Jesus, or Moses, thinking about that maybe hes Methuselah, dunno who that is just remember the name off an early Simpsons episode when Flanders gave Bart some religious game and swap cards
they made a home pong console, so you can play it at home, ad then there's another one, and another one! and another one! and another one! and another one! and another one! there was like ten milion of fucking pong consoles|!
I only went to chuck-e-chesses once during the early 80's...the pizza tasted like shit, but the arcade games were enough to keep me distracted from the food.
Nice video, although to whom that edited it, please consider color correction to match the lighting of the background and the green screen capture. Also bring the filter down a little bit of the chromakey. Look forward to the next video :)
This is kinda like a bad vh1 I Love The 80's show dedicated purely to video game. Just replace the C list celebrities with C list Internet personalities/nerds. Pretty good show:)
I just finished watching the Discovery Channel's 5-hour documentary "The Rise of the Video Game". So far, this blows them away. Much more entertaining.
Pat are you going to end when the show goes to 2000 decade?

@andrewthenintendofan James will be busy working on his movie, so probably not for the next 3-4 episodes at least. Maybe once we hit the mid 80's...
