  • saw "Promethian Fire" live, recently. It was beyond words. Spectacular choreography, really giving emphasis to the insurmountable power the soul can feel. With three works by bach all arranged by Stokowski (tocca and fugue in d minor, prelude 8 WTC, and obviously, this), it was perhaps one of the most transcending experiences i have had at a Ballet. i highly reccomend it.

  • I see some Bach orchestrated by Leopold Stokowsky as Toccata and Fugue. You have it, Apsis Apocynthion???

  • Toccata and Fugue? Sure, I do. It's in the playlist section.

  • Heavy Organ at Carnegie Hall, Virgil Fox performing, a must have CD with this Fugue starting the performance!!

  • Hi, i've just been learning this piece with my organ teacher but had no idea it has been orchestrated, very helpful thankyou and what and ending!
