  • Nice Job. what bluetooth module or chip are you using in the robot

  • Nice job:-)

    Only runs on jailbroken iPhones?

  • @shipengxu yes, as it requires a Bluetooth API. There's hope that iOS 5 provides at least access to Bluetooth Low Energy devices without a JB. We'll see.

  • @shipengxu hola que tal como podria conseguir esos módulos bluetooth y la aplicación para hacer ese proyecto

  • check at 23 24 seconde in iphone windows show man back with comande HAHA, sorry iam not good in englis

  • Cool well done no lag

  • how you make that...this is so sick :o

  • cool

  • Well done.

  • Is this using SPP? Is it possible to get some idea where to find info on how to develop something like that?

  • No. Plain L2CAP, SPP is pure overhead.

See info at end of video and/or in the info box to the upper right. open your eyes!

  • i was talking about the control app, 'cause there no more info that "Is using BTstack". I would like to know how to develop an iPhone App using BTstack.

But it seems like you don't want to help.

Nice job and keep up the good work :)

  • Looking at the sources of the BTstack project and read the Wikii. The full code of the WiiMote Demo is there, too. Then, join the developer group and ask for details.

  • can you send multimedia files with bluetooth ????to another phone ???

  • You can exchange files with other iPhone users by some tools in the AppStore. BTstack will allow to do this with regular phones over the open OBEX standard one day, but someone has to implement the upper layers and the user interface.

  • voll geil!! gibst auch ne möglichkeit LEGO NXT roboter mit dem iphone über bluetooth fernzusteuern? das fände ich extrem nützlich? Danke

  • haifisch! as far as I know, the LEGO NXT uses an RFCOMM/SPP-Bluetoorth. RFCOMM support in BTstack is yet experimental, but will probably be enough. We'll see if we can borrow one... or try yourself.

  • that's next! we're trying to connect the image sensor of a optical mouse to the BTnode, but didn't succeed yet. These sensors have about 16x16 pixels, b/w. When it's working we'll send the images over Bluetooth to the iPhone. Not much to see, but one might get a feeling for motion.

  • What would be REALLY GREAT would be if there would be a camera on the car and it would stream images via wifi to the iPhone which would diplay them but it would be really hard to do.
