Lawrence and Carly were the prelude to Sami & EJ. EJ parallels Lawrence in many ways. The only difference is that Lawrence, the REAL Lawrence not the crappy re-written version, would have never used a child against the woman he loves.
I really think this is one of my fav. Lawrence and Carly scenes... he probably does deserve "The curse" but I do think he really loves her and would at least TRY to change, not sure if he will ever succeed though lol
